It is possible to park for free on the street and in a dedicated parking area 1 minute from the apartment.

** The district **

According to tradition, Caldana is divided into four districts, Caldana Vecchia, the Borgo, the Convent and the Chestnut trees and visiting the village you can still see the ramparts of the ancient castle and in the small alleys a large part of the original architectural elements are visible.

The town of Caldana is also famous for the splendid underground cellars (Cantinoni) with vaulted ceilings and connected to each other by underground passages that wind throughout the subsoil of the country.

During the main village celebrations, the cellars become the location of the craft and food and wine markets creating a unique and magical atmosphere.

Here you can enjoy the pleasures of Tuscan cuisine and wine, in one of the excellent and numerous restaurants in the surrounding area or in the village itself.

The distance from the sea of Castiglione della Pescaia is about 25 km. In Castiglione you can find the pharmacy, the parapharmacy, the herbalist's shop, a thalassotherapy center, the library, the open-air cinema, open-air theater and concerts, the gym, a yoga center, a ceramic workshop, various areas wi fi, the post office, a horse riding school, ferries for excursions to the islands, a shopping center, churches and any other services. You can also find a sailing and kite surfing school.

You can visit beautiful medieval villages such as Vetulonia, Monte Pescali, Pitigliano, San Gimignano, visit Etruscan archaeological sites or take a wine tasting tour.

In Gavorrano, about 6 km away, at the open-air theater season in the suggestive Teatro delle Rocce.

In the village of Massa Marittima, about 30 km away, you can attend the opera music festival.
