Slowcanda in Bacciardi di Piobbico TRIPLE

About thirty houses, a small square, a small church, five inhabitants this is Bacciardi, the place chosen by Betty and Lorenzo where they can live together and raise their children. Clinging to a ridge just below Monte Nerone, this small center cannot be reached by car, it can only be reached on foot and comfortable shoes are required. Crossing the threshold of these buildings it seems to have taken a dip in the past where life had other rhythms and spent peaceful. The renovation took place in green building, there is also a commitment to respect the environment with a recovery of rainwater, the use of solar panels and the decision to use only wood to warm up. In 2010 the restaurant was inaugurated where happy moments are spent together with the people who come here. The cuisine is improvised, the menu is seasonal, based on local products, simple ingredients but revisited in a brilliant way by Lorenzo. The pasta is homemade, as is the bread. Breakfast is made with bread and jams, goat's milk, homemade cakes or pies. There are three rooms to receive guests, one double, one triple, both with bathroom and an apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people with use of the kitchen. The colors, the fresh flowers, the rosemary in the shower, the perfume in the sheets, are the attentions given to the people who come to stay here. There are still many dreams to be fulfilled, a camping site for tents and a synergistic vegetable garden, based on the principles of biodynamics and the planting of endangered fruit trees. All this with the hope of giving well-being and leaving a nice memory to those who pass by here. A place where sitting on old chairs you can relax, sipping an aperitif with friends.
