Hi Kristin,
I just want to thank you for your wonderful review and for treating our home in such excellent condition!
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

This is a really nice house on beautiful land about a five-minute drive from Lake George. The area is quiet and both Wendy and her mom were very helpful. I had wonderful hikes and kayak trips. The only hitch for me is that outside of the summer vacation months the public beach at Huletts is closed to swimming, and I love to swim every morning. For most people that wouldn't be an issue, though.
I've stayed in several cabins on vacation and this is definitely in my top three. The cabin is spacious, quiet and comfy with a large television and a blu ray player for a relaxing movie night in if the weather doesn't cooperate. The cabin is clean, organized and well stocked if you forget something. There were plenty of sleeping areas and the beds are comfortable. The owner communicated all the info that was needed and more. We had an awesome stay, 5 out of 5 stars.
Nice clean home. Everything you would need is supplied at house. Had a rough rainy week no one’s fault there . It’s a bit out of loop close to an hour from lake George village . Will bring more food to cook dinners at home next time. Would definitely stay again . Thanks
This was just wonderful! The house is away from everything on a wooded property, beautiful area. We loved the seclusion. There are 2 houses on the property with the front house occupied by the host’s parents. Very nice people. Lovable small dog, too! Bonus for dog pets and getting to feed the 2 horses. The house sleeps a lot of people, up to 8, but it was just the two of us, so plenty of room. There is one walk through bedroom downstairs which has a trundle bed in it but the bathroom downstairs is a half bath. This means that this is not the best property for someone who can’t navigate stairs. There is a ramp to get into the house if needed. The kitchen really is fully equipped! We made 4 dinners there during our stay, with no issues. Plenty of pots, pans, serving dishes, mugs, glasses and various kitchen tools including a colander and a garlic press. We were very grateful for the food! The host left us eggs, bread, butter and milk. This saved us a trip to the grocery store. We also were given a gift of honey and maple syrup, always lovely to have. We were very comfortable at the house. Plenty of towels, bedding and extra blankets. Bathroom does not have a lot of counter space, but there was lots of space in the medicine cabinet for all my cosmetics. Heads up—if you have any tall guests in your party, be aware of your head going up the steep, narrow stairs. Safe but tight. 2 queen beds upstairs and trundle in hall. Great place, wonderful stay!
We got really lucky and had clear skies at night, so the stars were in their full glory. Check in was a delight and the entire experience was lovely.
One note: Most things in this area are open Tuesday through Saturday and many things close at 4 PM.
We arrived a little early and the owner's mom was still finishing up with making the bed. We had a lovely conversation about the history of the house and her family. She told where we could go in the area and was very helpful. The owner Wendy was available for any questions we had and let us know of any issues in the house.
The house itself was quite large and comfortable with two bedrooms upstairs and a bath. There were extra beds in the house for additional people. The kitchen was fully stocked and we took full advantage of this. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would most definitely go back again.
I enjoyed this stay thoroughly! The home was charming and cozy. Everything you could want or need was available. This was an easy home to stay in and I would love to return!
The location was perfect for us our 15 year old son & friend. They enjoyed exploring the property & having fires at night. We loved the beach just down the street. It was so nice to have the essentials when we arrived. We really appreciated having milk, eggs, bread, etc. Not being right near Lake George provided us with many exploring options in New York & Vermont. Thanks for sharing your peaceful home with us!
We have never stayed in a VRBO where we get a welcome gift, stocked fridge with 2 dozen eggs, milk, butter, condiments galore etc. and a stocked pantry. Supplies in bathroom typical items you might have forgotten. All the wood for the fire. Comfortable beds super clean, games and toys for the kids. Super welcoming. We highly recommend this place. Very clean. All the towels and wash clothes you can ask for. We went without nothing. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be sure to stay there the next long weekend we have. We were also allowed any veggies in their garden And rasberries. Beautiful home with a beautiful serene surrounding. So peaceful and quiet.

Great property. Very clean and host was very responsive.
This home is located in a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful setting. The fall color was still vibrant even though past peak season.
We had everything we needed in the kitchen and much more. The pantry and refrigerator was stocked with items we normally did not have in other rentals (Milk, eggs, and peanut butter to name a few). We checked into a very comfortable, clean home and enjoyed smores over a fire in the backyard. The property was within short driving distance of several hiking trails that we thoroughly loved. Wendy was very responsive and helpful answering the questions I had. We had a great time.
The house is well equipped, kitchen well stocked, maintained and very clean. There are plenty of entertainments to keep everyone occupied within. For sure we all enjoyed exploring the yards and the woods within this huge property itself. There are trails, a brook, finding berries and fruit plants was a delight. The property is relatively close distance to beaches,
lakes, pizza, Chinese, dinners, ice cream parlors, Walmart, etc. Did I mention there is a horse in the property? Our kids absolutely were thrilled. The host’s parents are in the property. They are very kind, accessible, helpful and as if they are not there so you do have privacy. We can sit all day here enjoy nature’s simplicity. If you want a secluded get away but close enough to enjoy any outdoor activities but still and the tourist crowds of Lake George then I highly recommend this spot. We’ll be back!
We loved our stay so much, our family made memories to last a lifetime. The owners put a lot of love into thinking about what families might need - they went above and beyond in so many ways! We loved the beautiful property, the cleanliness of the home, and all the animals that visited us while we were there - we enjoyed our stay <3
The property was beautiful and was an amazing get away for us for a week! Wendy made sure that we had everything that we needed. The kitchen was stocked and there were so many extra pillows and blankets. We loved feeding the horse Shadow carrots! Very peaceful property.
The house is in a great location, close to both Lake George and Vermont, on a pleasant private property, easy to find. The place was very clean, well equipped and cared for. You fell very close to nature even at the house and the area has spectacular hiking opportunities. We had a triple rainbow over the house on our last morning!
We all had a great time. The house is the cleanest we have ever rented and we've rented quite a few over the years. Quiet, well appointed home, great property, loved the firepit and Shadow the friendly horse. Still looking forward to trying the complimentary pancake mix and maple syrup. Thank you!!
