Pine Place is a two bedroom, fully furnished, private apartment. All linens are provided. Master bedroom has queen bed, 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and there is a queen sleep sofa with memory foam mattress in the living room. Insulated blackout shades in bedrooms. Free WiFi, 3 TV/DVDs, gas fireplace, oversized whirlpool tub, full sized kitchen, washer/dryer on premise, A/C, private off street parking, BBQ, yard, deck and beautiful flower gardens. In winter, you can walk to the xc ski trails. Pine Place is close to the biking Rail Trail. You can walk the 4 blocks to the Main Street in Lake Placid where the shops, restaurants and movies are located. Sustainable with recycling mandatory and composting available, free and clear detergents, etc.

This was our third stay at Peggy’s. Peggy is a great hostess and the apartment is very comfortable with every needed for a week stay. Close to everything but off the main track so it is blissfully quiet.

We love this place. We have been maybe 6 or 7 times and hopefully next year as well. The flat is super comfortable, the decor is just want we want staying in lake placid. The beds are comfortable and the sofas are as well, it has a whirlpool bath thing that is an added bonus. The owner is super responsive and nice. 10/10 I could not recommend this place higher.

We had a wonderful snowy weekend here in Lake Placid. The location was perfect for spending time at the Main St. shops and for an event at the ice arena. The apartment itself was extremely clean and also cozy and had everything we needed. It was a great place to relax after a day out in the cold. Enjoyed the backyard view and fireplace also. Hope to come back someday!

Our stay at Pine Place was most ideal. The apartment was clean, cheery, peaceful, plenty big for our needs and very nicely appointed with an Adirondacks theme. The location is very convenient to Main Street and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Wonderful Place to Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cozy, comfortable home. Very clean, very well taken care of, and enjoyable decor. Instructions and communication with landlord very easy and clear. We appreciated having the variety of amenities to be easily able to prepare our own food. A great space for our family of 4. Very convenient location, just a short walk over the hill through a lovely neighborhood to get to town. Highly recommend this place!

I moved to Lake Placid in 1995 because of the abundance of outdoor activities in all seasons. I was pleased to discover an abundant arts community as well. I bought my small house in 1998 and built the Pine Place addition in 2002. I am a dual citizen with Canada and speak French. I love to travel internationally, especially on adventure travel trips.

Why they chose this property

Pine Place is right in town so you can walk to almost everything! It's in a nice neighborhood. When I bought the house, Pine Place was not there. I built the addition that has Pine Place in 2002, acting as my own general contractor! I am very proud of what we created and know you will love staying there.

What makes this property unique

I maintain Pine Place myself and am pleased that it has many extras not found in other rentals. Pine Place has paper towels, dish and laundry soap, salt/pepper/spices and is beautifully furnished with antiques, original art and taxidermy. It's more like a home than a rental.
