Lemon House is lovely in a very peaceful location on the mountain side. The 3 separate units allowed everyone to have their own space while the outside eating areas and pool were perfect for the group to gather. The villa was close to the local down where it was easy to get the ferry to other towns on the lake. Samanta was available to answer any questions and graciously organized a chef to prepare a delicious meal for us, which was a highlight of the trip. The chef and his assistant were friendly and full of information about local wineries. The only negative to the Lemon House was the final 600 or so feet up the road! It was very steep and narrow. The young ones were fine walking the hill, but it was a challenge for us “ older “ folk. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the beautiful Lemon House with an outstanding host.

Charaktervilla mit großartigem Ausblick

Die Anfahrt gestaltet sich ziemlich abenteuerlich, dafür belohnt der herrliche Ausblick über den See. Die schöne Außenanlage bietet viel Platz um sich zu sonnen, zum Grillen und geselligem Beisammensein. Der Pool hat eine tolle Länge zum Schwimmen. Man sollte allerdings gut zu Fuß sein, denn die drei Hauskomplexe fordern mit vielen Treppen heraus. Die Innenausstattung ist zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wir fanden es sehr gemütlich.

Urlaub mit Familien und Freunden

Das Objekt hat eine gigantische und atemberaubende Lage mit Blick über den See und das Städtchen Gargnano. Die Auffahrt ist wirklich sehr steil und nicht mit jedem Fahrzeug zu schaffen. Die 3 Häuser sind sehr gut bewohnbar und inkl der Küchen gut nutzbar. Die Einrichtung ist teilweise in die Jahre gekommen ebenso das Inventar. Es findet sich aber fast alles was man für das tägliche Leben benötigt. Die Zimmer sind teilweise sehr klein, sodass es mit Beistellbetten (Babybetten) eng wird. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind in Ordnung, jedoch ebenso etwas altmodisch. Die Außenanlage ist das was den Aufenthalt in diesem Anwesen ausmacht, daher ist gutes Wetter während des Aufenthalts erforderlich. Es gibt jede Menge freier Fläche auf verschiedenen Etagen mit Sonne und Schatten, sodass es sich sauch mit vielen Personen gut verteilt. Der Pool ist klasse und sauber. Bemerkenswert ist auch der Pizzaofen, welcher für unvergessliche gesellschaftliche Pizzasessions sorgt. Für den doch sehr hohen Preis, hätten wir eine etwas hochwertigere und neuere Inneneinrichtung erwartet, ebenso sollte für eine Reinigungsgebühr von 600 € auch alles wirklich sauber sein. Daher gibt es einen Punkt Abzug, ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen!

Amazing holiday home to host a wedding!

Limonaia Le Ravere is a beautiful place and the perfect spot for a small wedding party (20 people). We arrived on Monday, got married in the villa Thursday and stayed until Saturday. The villa is located pretty high in the mountains of Gargnano, which provides a spectacular view and lots of privacy. The drive up was challenging, but practice makes perfect. Definitely coming back to celebrate our anniversary! I had lots of help planning our wedding from Samanta, the property manager. She knows her way around Lake Garda. She was our intermediary for all the arrangements that were necessary to make it a great wedding week. She arranged a catered cocktail hour, dinner and a wedding cake (Collini Catering) and a wine tasting (vini due Pini) in the villa, which were all amazing! She can also arrange a live band, photographer, a pizza workshop, you name it. On arrival Samanta and her husband welcomed us and showed us around the property. It is HUGE an so pretty! It has 3 houses, a garden of 5 layers and a big pool. Even though we were with 20 people, everybody had enough space to relax together or to have some quiet time. Everything was clean, and on arrival there were cold drinks and lots of fruit. That was a pleasant surprise after the long drive. Samanta told us to call if there were any problems. On Friday the dishwasher disfunctioned, so I called. They came as soon as possible and repaired it right away. So that was great! Overall I would say it was a great villa with a lot of service. And I would definitely recommend you to come here for a nice holiday or a beautiful Italian wedding with a great view!

Gorgeous setting for a fabulous family reunion

This is really a magical place with amazing views and tons of character. We were a family of 17 between the ages of 2 and 80 and the property was able to easily absorb all of us across the multiple properties - including the large outdoor dining table where we all gathered to eat every night except when we fired up the pizza oven. I can see some people being stressed about safety with young kids and some older people might find the stairs and levels difficult as it's on a steep hill. Also, the road up can be hair raising especially the first time. We were there during a heatwave with 35C heat, so the spectacularly situated pool was used frequently and trips down to Gargnano which is lovely were reduced. Samanta was extremely responsive to any our needs.

The house was beautiful, the setting fantastic, once you mastered the driveway.

We had a great time and for myself, who will be 88 years old next week, a great exercise in stair climbing and swimming. It was a great reunion with the kids and everybody had a great time. The main house might need some modernization, the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom especially. Also the cleaning fee was a little on the high side, but alas! By the way Samantha was great and we really enjoyed meeting her.

A wonderful week at Limonaia Le Ravere Gargnano

We had a fabulous stay in this amazing villa. It was everything we imagined and more! The views, the accommodation, the pool and we loved the climb up the hill! Gargnano is a gorgeous village with great restaurants and lovely shops. We will remember this holiday for a long time! Regards Arthur Chapman Sydney Australia

Fantastic place

It's a realy amazing place. We was there with our family, 17 people from 3 years to 67. The pool was the childrens favourite place. Fantastic view of Garda. It is a crazy steep hill to come up to the house but we loved this hill. All of the family walked down to the city and up again at least one time every day. The result is that we are in better shape after the vacation than before. Gargnano is a charming village. We also had a dinner at the place prepared by chef Rosy and her team that was fantastic. If it had been possible to give 100 stars we had done so.
