What a wonderful place on a fabulous island. Molokai is definitely not for everyone, but that's what makes it so special. We have no doubt that we will be visiting again, and only hope that this very special place at Kenani Kai will be available. Service from Chad was topnotch, as it was last year when we rented a property through him in West Kauai. Although we didn't see the interior of any other unit while there, it is hard to imagine any could be nicer, or have a better view. Paradise In Molokai... Ke Nani Kai Unit 212
This is the 3rd time we stayed at Ke Nani Kai Unit 212 primarily because the unit has such an ideal view and location and because it features just the nicest upscale 2-bedroom vacation condo on all of Molokai. The bedrooms are large with big beds and fine linen. Really nice video and sound system. The large kitchen has all the best equipment and layout. There is a huge lanai/balcony fronting on the ocean view. Great for evening dinners and viewing the Milky Way and billions of stars. Practically no traffic. Totally quiet except for the occasional nighttime barking deer (yes, I did say 'deer”). Loads of other wildlife nearby: peacocks, wild turkeys, mongoose, all kinds of beautiful birds, monk seals at the beaches all near this condo. Speaking of beaches, there are 4 beautiful beaches within short walking distance that are pristine and usually totally deserted. What a paradise!!! Finally, the proprietors could not be any nicer and more accommodating. Great folks. We will be coming back to this condo again and again.

Home away From Home
Returning to Unit 212 at ke Nani Kai is like coming home. We have visited Molokia many times but once we found this unit, we return to it every year. It has a lovely view, a deck/patio with very comfortable furniture and a table that seats six. The inside of the Unit is tastefully decorated, the beds and furniture are really comfy, and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. The complex is quiet and well-maintained. There is lots of easy walking and the Ironwood Golf Course, although Executive, is a challenging nine holes and really reasonable. Molokai does not change much and that is another aspect that we really enjoy. We highly recommend Unit 212 and the Ke Nani Kai on Molokai.

Gorgeous unit and complex, great value
This was an excellent rental. It was a modern, up to date unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a huge lanai, and a gorgeous kitchen with a wine chiller (which we took advantage of). When renting, you deal directly with the owners who were always responsive and made the rental quick and easy. You could see the beach from the lanai, and could enjoy the wild turkeys walking by once or twice per day. The condo is located in the Ke Nani Kai complex. This is a wonderful quiet, complex with a great pool and sauna and impeccably clean grounds and landscaping - very, very nice. On one day, we were the only ones at the pool for an hour or two - so, not crowded either. I certainly would recommend this condo for a couple or small family.

Couldn’t be better!

Had a wonderful time on Molokai staying at this beautiful condo. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are gorgeous! A short walk to any number of beautiful sandy beaches. The condo is well equipped - beds are comfortable; linens are lovely; kitchen has everything you’d need (other than a teapot and lettuce spinner, but I brought my own and left the spinner for other guests). You will not be sorry to book this condo for your Molokai vacation!

Aloha Spirit!

We stayed in this gem on Molokai. We had a mix of weather, but still got some beautiful sunsets and wonderful beach time. The condo is well suited with everything you could possibly need. Its beautiful island artwork, and the incredible island feel make it very relaxing. The condo has been updated with very nice finishes and it is simply wonderful. If you are active like we are there is plenty to do just around the condo facility. Plenty of walking on trails and the beach. There is a very nice pool, spa, tennis courts and easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches on Molokai.

Our first visit on Molokai

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully furnished condo and were able to explore most of the areas of Molokai that are accessible with a standard rental car. We have rented numerous houses and condos over the past 7 or 8 years and this condo has the most special touches and is the best equipped of all of them....no exceptions. One of our great experiences included daily sightings of whales directly from the beach near to the condo. We were able to take videos of breeching whales, one with a calf alongside, which drew an audience of other awestruck onlookers; a fantastic performance. The Papohaku Beach is visible from the lanai and is as pristine as any beach on all of the islands. The condo is located on the West (dry) side of the island so we had lots of sunny weather during our stay. Chad was quick in responding to our questions. We would not hesitate to contact him again for probable future visits to Kauai.

Pure Bliss

Wow. This place has an incredible vibe and a breathtaking view of the west coast of beautiful Molokai. A kitchen with everything you need for cooking meals (you can buy your groceries in the main town Kaunakakai on the south of the island and at Kumu farms in the middle of the island if you plan to cook as there aren't stores with a large selection on the west side of the island). Also make sure to bring hard soled sandals or thick sneakers for the beach areas that have the thorny trees. Those thorns can go right through softer sandals into your foot otherwise! The place is away from the main town, so that you really feel you are with the peace and quiet that Molokai has to offer. The couches were super comfortable and relaxing to lounge on. There are interesting books in the space about the island's history and culture. We enjoyed our stay so much. It was so perfect for our honeymoon. It was really hard to leave! Thank you so much Chad for your hospitality. We hope to come back some day. Until then we will be dreaming of enchanting Molokai and this place:) Dasha & Jean-Yves

The Best So Far

Wow, we loved this place! Having an owner and not a company makes such a difference in how the unit is prepared. Just a highlight and a place where you feel that there is a person who truly cares. We had everything we needed and more (from utensils to olive oil). What makes it even nicer is the fact that some items that "company" managed units" use to throw ... like basics ... thank you. You walk in and were just impressed at how homey and clean the unit was. The kitchen is well laid out and has everything one needs. The couches in the sitting area are very comfortable to read and relax. The bed itself was comfortable with many pillow combinations to find something just right. We also liked the linens with excellent towels and beach items. One of the things that also made it nice, was the rattan carpets outside from Belgium, just makes it more cozy and comfortable. If I sound happy, we were! We just hope that in two years the unit will be free again for us to enjoy. Thank you Chad, you have a wonderful unit, and we would be happy to return.

Very nice; we love this condo complex and this stay was special. Really liked this unit.

Enjoyed it very much, but miss the old manager, Mike. The new manager, Steve, is not really suited to the job...he’s NOT very personable! But, the unit and stay were lovely 😊

Great Molokai Condo

I have stayed at this condo before and noticed some furniture upgrades this time. Very nice. Beautiful clean condo that is extremely well equipped with everything you could need during your stay on Molokai. A great kitchen to cook in and spacious patio with beautiful sunset views. Comfortable living room area with surround sound to enjoy a movie after a day at the beach. Beach chairs, bodyboard, pool noodles, mini cooler were available as well. The on-site pool and spa are huge and very enjoyable. The two beds were both very cozy. Everyone slept great! My only suggestion would be a couple portable fans as it gets really hot. The ceiling fans are great and the breeze in the evening helps but additional fans would be good.

Magic!

We loved this condo and Molokai. It was by far the nicest place we have stayed during our holiday travelling around the Hawaiian islands. We felt we were staying in a much loved home, one with everything you could possibly need to have a great holiday. It dudnt takevus long to wind down to Molokai time. Most happy just hanging out in the condo cooking meals in a great kitchen with all utensils, walking, swimming and then spending every evening on the deckchairs on the lanai looking up at the millions of stars. Magic. We hope we can return one day and we certainly recommend this place and wonderful hospitality it offers to friends..

Beautiful unit

This area is remote with isolated beaches a place to relax. The unit is superbly appointed and the kitchen is unbelievable...it has EVERYTHING . 2 gorgeous bedrooms and massive lanai with unobstructed views. Grounds are well maintained. On the last day I discovered a whole network of trails behind the property perfect for jogging. Maybe next time. Thanks Chad.

Serenity of Molokai in First Class Comfort

Molokai is not for everyone. There are no five-star resorts...no five-star restaurants...and no real choice of rental cars. In fact, it's hard to find any place to enjoy a great meal anywhere on the island. Having said all that, we found that Hale Ula Lani offers everything that we would expect to find at a first class resort with a fantastic sunset view and all the comforts and amenities of home. Everything in this unit has been upgraded to the utmost. The kitchen has absolutely everything a gourmet chef could want, and then some. Granite, stainless steel, even an espresso machine! And all the condiments and other amenities to prepare the finest of meals. Every detail is carefully crafted to reflect local culture and history. The décor in both bedrooms and bathrooms is rich and obviously well thought out. And the laundry in the unit is a godsend! The expansive lanai offers a comfortable opportunity to enjoy the views of the island's most beautiful western beaches and the most fabulous sunsets ever. We loved every minute of our stay here. The solitude...the hikes on nearby isolated beaches...the opportunity to reflect on past and present. This is truly the Hawaii that once was. Quiet. Simple. This is the true Hawaii. We will be back again next year. For sure!

Perfection on Molokai

This was our fourth visit to Molokai but our first visit after many years. This condo was the topping on the cake and made our return to Molokai that mush more memorable. It doesn't get any better than this. We love Molokai and will return. The only thing that eclipsed the condo were the views from the lanai. Thanks Chad

Starting to lose count but this was our 5th or 6th visit to this splendid condo. We consider ourselves picky when it comes to accommodations so having been back so many times speaks volumes. We always arrive to a very clean and comfortable setting with great views and quiet surroundings. Perhaps our number one priority is cleanliness and this place has yet to disappoint. With each visit we find upgrades from the previous, whether furniture, bedding, art, or kitchen gadgets. Free WiFi is a nice benefit as well. We shared the condo with another couple on one visit and there was no wanting for space. Each having their own bath and privacy. And we love the lanai. Perfect for breakfast or evening cocktails and stargazing. We've recommended this condo to friends in the past and always get great feedback. It truly is "Simply the best conco on Moloaki" We can't wait for our next visit! Aloha!

This was our first time visiting the beautiful Island of Molokai, and we absolutely loved everything about this condo on the quiet west side of the Island. The kitchen was so well equiped, and we enjoyed dining on the spacious lanai overlooking the ocean and pristine beaches. The bed was very comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was a real treat. This unit is so tastefully decorated and the attention to every little detail made for a wonderful and relaxing stay. We highly recommend this condo and we will most certainly be returning to this paradise very soon.

Perfectly wonderful! Exceeded our Expectations!

This gorgeous condo is perhaps even nicer than it looks in the pictures. It is well stocked, and extremely comfortable for four people. We typically don't vacation in a condo type setting, but Ke Nani Kai may have changed our minds about that forever. We enjoyed the beautifully kept grounds, the hot tub, and used the grill and picnic area several times while we were there. The pool is also beautiful, but at the end of our beach days, the hot tub seemed more inviting. The West end of Molokai is rather remote, but we really loved being almost alone on the gorgeous beaches within walking distance of this unit. Renting a car on Molokai is pretty much a must, but you will be repaid with spectacular scenery in every direction as you leave to discover the treasures of the island, and then return "home" to Ke Nani Kai. I highly recommend working with the manager/owner of this property. Responses have always been prompt, friendly and extremely helpful. We have used Chad's services renting gorgeous properties on both Molokai and Kauai.

Unit 212

Walking into Unit 212 at the Ke Nani Kai is like coming home. We so enjoy the unit - it is extremely well equipped, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The deck furniture is a real treat - so comfy and we enjoy dining outside at the table. The complex has a nice pool and there is lots of good walking which we enjoy. Molokai doesn't change much and that is another aspect that we enjoy. The Ironwood Golf Course is challenging but fun and really reasonable. We have been visiting Molokai for several years and when we found Unit 212, the place we now call home, that fulfilled all our dreams of Hawaii.

Just a dream

Our stay in this condo was just perfect - starting from the booking, the excellent service offered by Scott and Chat and of course the condo itself. This was our third stay in Molokai but this condo was definitely the best we ever had. The description in this website is very compliant mit everything you will find when arriving. Where to start..... ? Of course, the Lanai and the view to the ocean is absolutely great.... The kitchen is a wowh - large, fully equipped, everything very clean. The kitchen, one beed room and the bath room with the tub are one large room, no walls in between. Very modern, it gave us a wonderful feeling. The second sleeping room is in a separate, closed room and on hot days it is the cooler one. Everything was very clean and very well maintained. We did not use the swimming pool so we cannot comment on this. The staff at the reception was very friendly, too and at our arrival everything was perfectly preferred. We surely will be return visitors.

Amazingly relaxing getaway

What an amazing little place in the middle of paradise! I was looking for a nice, completely relaxing beach vacation away from it all and found it on Molokai in this wonderful condo. The condo was perfect...amazingly clean and really felt like a home. I could walk to public beaches (which almost always didn't have anyone there) and it was easy to get to and from other places on Molokai from this condo. I would wholeheartedly return to this property. The owners were so communicative and extremely helpful as I planned my stay on Molokai. HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Paradise At Ke Nani Kai U...

Paradise At Ke Nani Kai Unit 212I’d like to share here a glowing report about what was the best condo I have ever rented anywhere. It’s sunny 2-bedroom Unit 212 at Ke Nai Kai which sits at the West End of Molokai where most of that island’s and the world’s finest beaches await. So let me start with the ambiance. Molokai is like a time warp from maybe 50 years ago. Very quiet and unspoiled and truly perfect for families and lovers. The beaches at Ke Nani Kai are never very populated and therefore almost private. Often large turtles, called Honu, and Monk Seals, may join you on the beach for some warm sun rays. Deer, wild turkeys, and all manner of birds share Ke Nani Kai. World class hiking and water sport are nearby, including fishing, kayaking,and snorkeling.Ke Nani Kai is architecturally perfect for its setting and impeccably maintained. Unit 212 is large with a wonderful ocean/beach view. The owners, Scott and Chad, have created a very sophisticated interior design replete with a first class kitchen featuring granite countertops and high end appliances. The designer cabinets are filled with everything you could need to cook and dine in elegance. The unit includes 2 large dining tables --- one inside and the other on an expansive lanai overlooking the ocean. Because Molokai is so under-developed, ambient nighttime lighting is minimal affording simply breathtaking views of the Milky Way. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and feature king beds in each room. The furniture, fabrics and linens throughout are exceptional with a designer’s touch. I cannot wait to revisit Scott’s and Chad’s unit which for me is the perfect first class holiday home to relax, rest, play, rejuvenate and fall in love all over again.

Why they chose this property

From the moment I walked into this condo and saw the incredible view of the ocean and Popahaku Beach, I couldn't get it out of my mind. This was the only unit I had ever seen where they removed the kitchen walls so that it is open. The pool and spa are the best facilities on the island. The upscale feeling of the location is unlike any other. This is the sunny dry side and the beaches are on this side. You can walk to several beaches in minutes.

What makes this property unique

The large lanai is great for sunning, dining, and taking in the sunset at night. This is a front row view without any other buildings to look over. There are great tradewinds that flow right through the unit making it unnecessary for air conditioning. It is so quiet here that the palm fronds in the breeze at night will keep you awake for the first hour of the first night. After that, it is heaven.
The pool is close and the west end is a great place to walk.
