The location was wonderful, right in the middle of everything: shops, restaurants, coffee shops, everything was around. The communication is the best and the apartment itself very clean. I would like to give this property five stars but for some reason I didn’t have that option came up only four stars. If you really want to enjoy the Rome vibe, that’s the best location.

Property was wonderful. Quiet courtyard. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of towels. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher all worked perfectly. One block off the Main Street was great for getting groceries and the bus to other parts of Rome. Easy walk to the Vatican. Lovely safe-feeling area.

Wonderful stay

Absolutely loved this apartment, it was so spacious and easy to walk to from the metro. The property owner is just wonderful and responds to you so quickly. The area is just great and close to supermarkets, our favorite crepe place, metro and 10 minutes to the Vatican. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Great place

We only stayed one night. The host answered my questions quickly. Very helpful, before and during our stay. She gave us a list of places nearby to eat. The neighborhood was a bit hard to find, but I think that was more our problem. I would recommend a stay here.

The owner was wonderful and helpful. She allowed us to get in a little early and stay an hour late

The home was pleasant and comfortable. Beds were good and the kitchen was finished adequately. Coffee was the best we had in Rome. 20 minutes to the Vatican gate. Many restaurants close and the area was very safe.

Perfect spot for a mini break

The appartment is nice and clean, can hold 6 people easily and is very well situated close to the Vatican and public transport. We had a wonderfull time in Rome, walking towards the Vatican to enjoy the Vatican or to take a bus/metro to see the other interesting places. We really enjoyed Rome, the appartment and the hospitality of Silvana, who was always willing to advice or to help out.

Fabulous flat and location

You could not ask for a better location. 20 minute walk to Vatican City. Multiple restaurants and gelato places within minutes. The flat worked perfect for 7 adults. 2 baths, handy kitchen. Communication with our fabulous host couldn’t have been better. We were very pleased!

Great location!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here! The location couldn’t be better - just outside of the Vatican wall. It’s very convenient to metro, taxi stations & restaurants. Silvana promptly responded to my questions and provided great directions and rental description. We were able to drop our luggage off long before check-in time. Beds were super comfortable & we loved having an espresso each morning. Showers are small compared to what we’re used to, but adequate. It was nice to have 2 full baths for 4 adults.

Decent 3 bedroom apartment close to Vatican. Had all the required appliances. Well equipped kitchen. 400m from nearest Metro stop. Comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The apartment was a bit hard to find at first.

Roma Vatican

This property was very clean and Daniella, the housekeeper, was very nice and helped answer alot of questions we had. We never did see Silviana. It was my daughter's birthday and they provided a platter if cookies for us. That was so very nice.

This review of yours is not true, because if it were, upon your arrival you should have immediately contacted Vrbo and sent proof of what you said, in order to have another accommodation in exchange. Which she didn't do, preferring to stay in an accommodation full of mold, without a living room, i.e. a shared area, strange thing in my ad there are photos of the living room, but when she arrived she didn't find it, incredible! !! I can't understand the reason for his gratuitous malice!!! Yes, really evil. Never had guests who enjoy unfairly harming those who work honestly!!!!! Let him examine his conscience, if he ever has one!!!!! You are a guest who does not deserve to be hosted in a facility, not even in a hostel, with all due respect to the hostel!!!!!!!

The apartments is covered in mold showers being the worst. The owner is a complete liar whe will try to swindle you out of fees. Items were damaged from prior and she accused us and tried to charge $250. I would highly recommend staying on the street before you stay here

Lovely property, close to Vatican, comfortable beds, hostile host

Lovely property close to Vatican. However, host told us to communicate with her through her phone number, which we did, then scolded us for contacting her through that number. Our plane flight was delayed, which she was fully apprised of, and due to this unforeseen delay, we requested a later check in time of 5:30pm as soon as we were informed by the airlines of the delay- our host scolded us for being “late” (which we were not), stated it’s our fault the person she sent to give us the keys had to wait (why did she send this person early knowing our flight was decayed??), insisted we pay them extra for their wait, sent us messages saying how much we upset her (we literally did nothing to upset her), then complained to VRBO that we never showed up (we showed up at exactly the time we said we would- 5:30pm. She then continued to contact me throughout the stay with negative messages trying to provoke further conversation- this was extremely inappropriate. This is our wedding trip, made unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend staying here because of the way you are likely to be treated if you attempt it. In more than 20 stays, this is a first.

What I give to my guests is that before booking, read all the rules of the holiday home, the check-in and check-out times so they won't create problems, recommend me and above all to themselves. Mutual and timely communication is crucial. The holiday home does not have 24-hour reception, does not offer hotel services, is not a B&B or a hotel. But a real rental for short tourist periods. Unfortunately they have not documented themselves and have created serious problems. A check awaited for hours. And a check out not communicated without notice. Luckily few like them. I have always been available to my guests, the reviews confirm it. But the disrespect towards me and my apartment is not tolerable.

Wonderful Stay!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Vatican Sun property! Despite having a fractured foot, Silvana provided great communication and even let us check-in early on the day of our arrival. I can't tell you how much this helped us as there were 5 of us with a lot of luggage, and the weather was very hot that day. This rental property is very spacious, and since there were 5 of us traveling (3 adults, 2 teenagers), the extra space and 2 bathrooms came in very handy! Also, the location of this property is so convenient to everything, and you can get to most places with a short 5-10min walk (taxi stand, a huge indoor market, so many restaurants, convenience stores and GELATO!). There are many conveniences at the apartment including a refrigerator, stove, microwave and washer/dryer machine. And when I couldn't figure out why the dryer was stopping the cycle prematurely, Silvana responded within only a few minutes and sent one of the neighbors over to help me out. I didn't realize that you have to empty the water tank after every cycle since this isn't something that we typically have in the US (we usually have vents or drains). And finally, on the last day of our stay, our nephew somehow accidentally threw away the set of 4 keys in the trash bin by the street. We felt absolutely horrible about this as we knew it would be a big burden on Silvana to replace the keys. She was so kind and understanding about it, and of course we will be paying for the replacements costs.

Respectful guests, it was a pleasure to host them, even if they lost the keys to the apartment, causing damage, not economical, because the deposit covers the cost of replacement, but the difficulty of not being able to have the replacement of the key replaced quickly lock and keys, because they cannot be duplicated. They deserved a five star rating, I only gave 4 to those who lost their keys, so that this can't happen again in other structures. Especially during this summer holiday period. Thank you for choosing my apartment. I repeat, it was an immense pleasure to host you.
