Quiet peaceful villa with level disabled access

The house offers great disabled access, which allowed us to relax knowing that our daughter could move around the house with ease in her Power wheelchair. Fantastic views from the terraces and pool. Although a fairly remote location, this did mean it was quiet and peaceful. The manager was easy to get hold of and was always on hand to help out. We were met on arrival and shown around the house and given information about the local area and things to see. I would recommend Hilltop Hideaway to anyone wanting a quiet holiday in the mountains/hills. If you need level disabled access that this house will definitely meet your needs.

Beautiful views

We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Hideaway, the location is very peaceful and private, although there are shops and restaurants about 15 minutes drive away. The villa was really well equipped, particularly for my father, who is in a wheelchair. He could access everywhere in the main section of the villa, and the swimming pool area. The whole place was clean and tidy and the owners and managers extremely friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do in the area, the lake is beautiful, the children had a great time there, and there are lots of nice restaurants and cafes. But to be honest most of the time we were happy just chilling out by the pool! We have had a wonderful time and will always cherish the memories of this holiday!

an excellent property for wheelchair users

The property is very well laid out for wheelchair users with a large terrace, spacious living area and roll-in showers. It is clean, well maintained and well equipped. The kitchen is a little functional and could do with some updating. The view from the terrace is superb. The approach road is quite narrow if travelling in a large vehicle so arriving in daylight is a good idea. On the plus side it is also very quiet and fine for strolling / wheeling along. We visited Granada and Cordoba and both are comfortable day trips. The property managers are very friendly and efficient and we strongly recommend the food delivery service provided by the local café. There are good restaurants about 20 minutes drive away. We strongly recommend this property to wheelchair users and their families who want a restful stay in a quiet location.

Nous avons passé une semaine absolument merveilleuse en famille dans cette magnifique villa. Le cadre est exceptionnel, paisible et très agréable. La villa est superbe, confortable et parfaitement adaptée pour passer de belles vacances en famille.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’environnement et le calme des lieux. Tout était réuni pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour.Un grand merci au propriétaire et à Romana. Nous recommandons cette villa sans hésitation et nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir ! 🤩

We had a great stay, 11 of us using the whole house. Plenty of room for everyone and facilities to accommodate us all. The pool was great for the grandsons as it wasn’t too deep so they were able to splash around safely. Was met by Ramona, who was approachable and super-helpful. Definitely need a car but would do that anyway.

Prima verblijf. Heel mooi uitzicht op de olijfboomgaarden. Heel rustig. Prachtig huis met goede bedden. Buitenverblijf voorzien van prettige stoelen en ligbedden. Zwembad ondiep om lekker te zwemmen. Afstand naar het meer is verder dan beschreven, moet je met auto doen. Naar Sevilla is ruim 2 uur rijden. Malaga en Cordoba ruim 1 uur rijden. Hele fijne tijd gehad

Superbe semaine !

Mon groupe d’amis et moi même avons passés une superbe semaine. Un environnement idéal pour se ressourcer, au milieu des oliviers ainsi au bord de la piscine, avec un temps magnifique. La villa est super bien équipée, propre, et idéale pour passer des vacances en toute tranquillité. Je recommande +++. Merci pour tout, merci aux propriétaires ainsi qu’à Ramona pour tout. À bientôt !

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille dans cette magnifique maison, perdue au milieu d'un océan de collines et d'oliviers. Calme absolu, vue exceptionnelle, région superbe, ce séjour a été très dépaysant. La maison est très confortable et parfaitement équipée, avec 2 immenses terrasses ouvertes sur la campagne alentour. Merci à Balazs et Amanda pour l'accompagnement et les conseils.

Beautiful and accessible villa in lovely setting.

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at Brazos Albiertos in September, 2018. I am a wheelchair user, and it is often difficult to find appropriate accommodations. The villa and pool at Brazos Albiertos were very accessible and lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was heartwarming to learn how the original owners had such a beautiful vision for the property. Our week was made even better by our hosts, Claire and Peter, both of whom provided outstanding customer service. They checked on us throughout the week, and Claire even provided us with contacts for disability-related services in the area so we could get the most out of our stay. Brazos Albiertos is a much needed option for individuals with disabilities who historically have had very limited options for these types of holidays.

Perfect if you want to get away from the crowds, yet want easy access to Malaga, Cordoba or Granada

….what a fabulous place. After a week of stay we were going to move on, but felt that staying put and taking in the peace and tranquility of Hilltop Hideaway was a better option, so stayed for another week! Listening to the Nightingale in the evening, the beautiful birdsongs in the morning, wonderful views and to be made to feel so welcome, a few days doing some local touring, (not being far from Cordoba and Granada) was all we needed

Super villa!

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette superbe villa, perdue au milieu des oliviers. La maison est très belle et très confortable. Une grande terrasse ombragée permet de manger matin midi et soir en extérieur. La vue est spectaculaire! Balazs, le propriétaire et Claire, la manager, se sont montrés très gentils et très disponibles! La situatuon est idéale à moins d’une heure de Cordoue et de Grenade. Un lac et de très jolis villages à proximité nous ont rendu le séjour très agréable! J’y retournerais volontiers!

***** Simply Stunning *****

When I book a holiday for my family, I scrutinise every photo and word of the advert. I really didn´t expect the house and Iznajar area to be as good as the write up but it was BETTER!! We had a fabulous holiday. So onto the admin bits, booking was very easy and lots of emails meant that we felt very happy going to Iznajar. Whole process was made simple. We used the Cooks Night Off option from Bar Verde for our welcome pack (many thanks Scott and Naomi) and we also has a couple of the main meals,, delicious. We spent mornings strolling around the beach area or sitting on the huge terrace reading a book and evenings with a bottle of red wine, infront of the log burner. Kids loved exploring the land, glad to say they had a taste of the real Spain, how lucky were we. I am sure we will return, thanks you so much xxx

Excellent family oriented holiday home

We liked the quiet seclusion - the beautiful terrace and pool. The property manager was excellent - able - informative - the one issue we had (not connected with the property) was answered promptly. Hilltop Hideaway is an excellent family oriented holiday home. Only one distraction - would not recommend travelling to/from i the dark!! Those olive grove roads are hairy in places!! We have no hesitation at all in recommending Hilltop Hideaway to anyone.

Stunning views, excellent quality build house

We've spent two weeks here with our family. The rooms are very big and the house is very comfortable. The log burner and the underfloor heating kept us very warm throughout our stay. The views are simply amazing and i've never seen so many stars in the night skies. There is a huge terrace which is perfect for stargazing and al fresco dining.
