About the host
Hosted by Louise Scillitoe-Brown
We have lived here for almost 30 years, arriving with a tiny baby to dilapidated house and derelict garden.
We are still making discovers in the garden as we peel back layers. We are currently in the throes of creating a new kitchen garden and have found lots of rubble!
We love living here, walking in the beautiful Surrey Hills and seeing the seasons change. We also enjoy being close enough to London, to visit galleries, museums and the theatre and to the coast for bracing walks on flat sands.
Why they chose this property
The Surrey Hills are especially beautiful and our light filled home is a great location to explore the surrounding countryside, National Trust properties. Both London and the coast can be reached within about an hour out of rush hour. The large pretty garden overlooking a lake and Ranmore, but within a 10 minute easy walk of the village centre are the reasons we moved here.
