Peaceful and friendly

Very cute converted barn house. It was perfect for my two young children to play in the garden and visit the horses when they liked. George was a great host and made us feel very welcome.

The owner was friendly and had great communication and this property has so much potential to be amazing!! The photos of the listing are very outdated. The property itself is nice and quaint. For the price the property is great value with it being a rustic farm house.Unfortunately a lot of the additional features need a lot of work, the stairs that we were directed to use to access the property were broken and dangerous to attempt to use. The bbq was filthy and broken, the garden furniture was dirty and covered in old bird droppings. The pool was the biggest disappointment. Black mould on the slabs, broken slabs around the pool, green algae on the wall of the pool, dirty pool furniture covered in suncream and old bird droppings. We found a dead mouse in the pool (not an issue as on a working farm) however we asked the owner to treat the water accordingly by shocking it, and although we were told this had happened, and the pool was sanitary to use, the testing kit showed zero chlorine in the water.
