This private 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage with its well appointed coastal charm is located within a short 3 blocks walk to Hollywood’s vibrant downtown offering a wide selection of fine dining/shops, Young Circle events, children’s playground, Hollywood Beach Golf Resort, and easy access to public transportation and grocery/drug stores. Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk is a quick 3-5 minutes drive away. It is also conveniently located 15 minutes south of Fort Lauderdale airport, 25 minutes north of the Miami airport, as well as a 5-10 minutes drive to Amtrak and the Tri-Rail (Regional rail service between Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, Florida).

Perfect for couples, families or friends. Guests to this cottage set in a quiet neighborhood will feel at home with its comfortable furnishings and great attention to details. Spacious master bedroom with a Queen sized bed. There is another Queen sized bed in the second bedroom and a full size fold out futon in the living room to comfortably accommodate additional guests. Portable crib available upon request. Full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. For entertainment, there is an LCD TV/DVD player, small library of DVDs, books and games. Not great, not bad

First, we were upgraded to a larger house so this review pertains to unit 1 on the property, not unit 2 that is described and is in reality a converted garage. The good: Perfect location within walking distance to downtown Hollywood’s many restaurants and bars. Also a long walk or a short drive to the beach. Plenty of room in the house. Comfortable beds. No problems with hvac, plumbing or access to the house. The not good: The house desperately needs TLC. The outside looks shabby and neglected - overflowing mailbox, weeds in the yard, messy patio area. The house needs a thorough cleaning beyond what is done between rentals. Get rid of the dirt on the baseboards, scrub the sink, wash the walls, remove the rust from the top of the freezer. Hire an electrician to get power to all the outlets, fix broken lamps and move lamps that are not near outlets to places where they can work. In a perfect world, I would paint all the walls and upgrade the TVs, one of which did not work.
