This was a clean, well positioned place to stay. Communication with the host was excellent; we had a small problem that was fixed quickly. It was a small place, I can’t imagine 4 adults staying there, but for 2 people, for a couple of nights it was fine.

Everything was as expected. The apartment was a bit funky but was as described. The location was central to the hiking and traveling that we wanted to do. We had a small issue with the heating that was resolved quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in dieser Selbstversorger-Lodge verbracht und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Bereits am Vortag erhielten wir alle wichtigen Informationen zur Anreise. Der Check-in und Check-out erfolgten unkompliziert über eine Schlüsselsafe-Box mit Code. Die Unterkunft ist kompakt, aber gut durchdacht. Im unteren Bereich befinden sich die Küche sowie ein Schlafsofa, im oberen Bereich ein großes Doppelbett. Besonders positiv fiel uns auf, dass die Heizung die Lodge sehr schnell erwärmte, was nach Ausflügen bei schottischem Wetter angenehm war. Ein kleiner Nachteil war das Fehlen eines Esstisches, was jedoch vermutlich der kompakten Größe der Unterkunft geschuldet ist. Zur Lodge gehört ein eigener Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Direkt nebenan befindet sich das gemütliche Café „Crafts & Things“, das sich hervorragend zum Frühstück eignet (Öffnung ab 9:30 Uhr). Für das Abendessen können wir das Restaurant „The Laroch“ empfehlen. Da es sehr beliebt ist, lohnt sich eine Reservierung im Voraus.

Wohnung ist max. Für 2 Reisende emfehlenswert. Gute Lage doch leider etwas zu teuer im Verhältnis zum Angebot.

Petite annexe

L'annexe est très bien située dans cette superbe région et ils le savent. Possibilité de garer un véhicule. C'est un petit volume: il faut replier la table pour ouvrir le canapé, à l'étage il s'agit d'une mezzanine. Salle de bain, toute petite. Rochelle qui n'est pas la propriétaire est très réactive par mail. Principe de boite à clés, ce qui est très impersonnel.

Fantastic home

Wonderful little apartment with beautiful surroundings. We loved our stay. Very clean property and had excellent facilities. We would love to stay again, hopefully for longer next time!

Close to shops and restaurants

Unfortunately we didn't find the accommodation to be what we expected after reading the property description. We had no view of the Loch. Our view was a small back garden as the annex is built on the back of a garage. The accommodation is compact to say the least. The expected bedroom was in fact a mezzanine above the kitchen and bathroom. On a positive note, the accommodation was well equipped, clean, warm with fluffy towels and beautiful bedding.

Un apartamento bien equipado, limpio y bien situado en el pueblo de Glencoe

Es como una casita delante del lago, aunque sin vistas. Pequeña pero muy mona. Ideal para una pareja. Con niños algo justa. Está muy nuevo, bien equipado y muy bien situado si queréis disfrutar de la zona de Glencoe. Justo al lado hay una cafetería y tienda de regalos estupenda
