Poulatas is a picturesque village, drowned in the green village of eastern Cephalonia, 4 km southwest of Sami and 25 km northeast of Argostoli. They are built on the southeastern terminals of Mount Saint Dinati, at an average altitude of 220 meters above sea level and due to their geographical location, they are close to the island's major points of interest, Melissani lake and Drogarati cave.

Beautiful spacious apartment with exceptional views of the port of Sami and surrounding hills. Ideal for families who enjoy quiet retreat, walking, nature yet close to Sami for supermarkets etc. The village of Poulata has two taverns and much interest. The owner is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. You could not ask for a nicer host and accommodation. Very good location for exploring the northern part of the island and also Itakhi (there is an excellent ferry service from Sami). Overall, by far one of the nicest places we have stayed in Europe. The property represents excellent value for money in a beautiful location. Thankyou

Lovely apartment

My friends and I were at this apartment for two weeks. The location is very nice: a large part of the island is reachable by car within an hour and the towns Sami and Karavomylos as well as Antisamos beach are nearby. The apartment itself is great: it was clean, the beds were nice and the airconditioning worked well. The apartment had everything we needed for a great price. The owner of the apartment was very helpful and lovely to talk to. When we had questions, we always received a quick response. He gave us a couple of recommendations for places to visit on the island, which was very kind and helpful. When driving to the apartment for the first time, we had some trouble finding it, but the owner was very helpful in getting us to the apartment. Overall, we would definitely love to visit the island once more and we would really recommend this apartment! :)
