Really appreciated the early check in and 100B / beer mini bar stocked. Great pool, although we did have to share it and there were only 3 sun loungers available. Small problems of ac remote not working and not enough plates for our party of 6 were quickly sorted. There was a problem with the drains with a smell in the top en-suites and the kitchen sink blocked and leaking. Good location, quiet beach, couple of great beach restaurants 10min walk away.

Wonderful villa

We had a wonderful week at Coconut Laguna. It was clean and very comfortable. Great pool and lovely to have the quiet stretch of beach at the end of the path. Good location for exploring the less touristy local options for food and drink - some wonderful restaurants nearby. 20 minutes in a Grab to Fisherman’s Village. Would highly recommend.

Excellent villa, really enjoyed our time there!

We visited for 9 days in Feb 2017, 2 families, 3 kids. Loved this villa, steps from the beach, very private porch, quiet, clean, comfortable, next to the pool where the kids comfortably played within our sight/hearing. Staff was extremely helpful, arranged car rental for us for the following day, helped with local restaurants recommendations, exchanged USD. Had a wonderfully relaxing time there, the beach is amazing, the porch is very relaxing. A wonderful lady cooked breakfast for us upon request, very reasonable prices. We absolutely loved it there, we would return anytime. Would recommended for couples/friends or families with kids.

Wonderful

We had an amazing holiday. The house was perfect for four adults and four children. Very well equipped. Everyone in the resort was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach, kayaking and going to nearby beach restaurant for snacks. The main pool is by the house and a big hit with adults and kids. Be sure to bring bug repellent as main eating area is outdoors. We will happily return!

Relaxing stay

Had a great stay in this villa! Loved flowers in the garden, the smell of frangipani, the chickens that wandered around the house, and the proximity to the beach. Kids loved the pool right in front of the house, and the pool table on the porch. Large & clean bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen, and stocked fridge upon arrival. Quiet area of the island, but massages and great places to eat on the beach nearby, and Foodpanda-delivery available. Friendly staff, able to arrange taxi, trips, etc. Would definitely recommend for winding down!

Best staying ever !

Simply the best host ever. It's was my third time in Roberto's villas. The transfert from the airport is very easy after a long flight. The villas are cleaned twice a day. Beds are changed twice a week. Laguna pool is a big villa with everything you might need. the pool is very nice and the beach ( 15 meters from our villa ) is the most quiet and beautiful of the region. ROberto's team will do everything to make your stay a dream. I highly recommend Coconut Lagune to chill out. Geoffrey

Have you ever been to paradise? ;-)

If you want to feel like home from the first day on -> take a house in this resort :-) We lived at "Laguna Pool" for 3 1/2 weeks and felt like kings in this beautiful resort. It doesn`matter where you look first-there are so many wonderful things! The garden with it`s million of flowers, butterflies and birds. The beach is about 15 meters(!) away in front of the resort (clean, only less people). The sea (clear an warm) or the house itself (big, clean and built with much love for details). We loved to spend our time on the BIG terrace. Right across the street there is the restaurant of Mister Anuru-his wife is cooking the best noodlesoup on the island, and all the other things we loved sooo much (king prawns,fish,...) and Mr Anuru delivers to your house within 30 minutes.(very cheap!) About 200 meters (on the right side-beachwalk) you find one of the best restaurants of the island -> try the red snapper in barbecue-stile! Roberto Lopez and his team always try to make your time at the Laguna resort unforgettable. The whole stuff is friendly. You want to rent a motorbike?-No problem! You get it directly in the resort or Sao calls for one! You don`t want to cook?-No problem! Sao does it! You want to have the best breakfast on the island? No problem! Sao will bring it to you-just ask! You don`t want to go to the supermarket?(only about 1 km outside of the resort seven eleven)No problem!Sao will do the shopping for you! You don`t want to wash you clothes on your own?No problem!Laundryservice about 300 meters away for less money! You want to find the perfect place for an unforgettable candlelightdinner? No problem!Ask Roberto! Good customerservice is not enough to discribe how we felt! Try it!And you know what we are speaking about ;-) It will be the best time of the year!
Response from VrboOwner on 28 Mar 2020
I think there is some exaggeration on this review,....normal, it was a special time for Hans & Marion who got engaged during their stay in Laguna POOL....just a small help, and the standard services that's all. We have now our own laundry service (give to Sao), so not to worry about it anymore. See you both next year in Samui for your honeymoon (already reserved)! Many thanks for your very friendly relationship & be welcome anytime. Roberto.

Relaxing villa in quiet location

I stayed at Roberto's villa with my husband, mother and 2.5-year-old daughter - we all had a great time! The beach is perfect for a young child and she loved splashing around in the common pool - neither was ever too busy. The beach was great for our daughter to play in the sand and at sunrise, she was able to walk around in the shallow water = perfect for kids! There is a great little restaurant right across the street that you can order from and they'll deliver to your villa - perfect for having dinner at the villa while our daughter played. You can also buy croissants, fresh baguettes and smoothies right at the entrance to the villa complex as well as visit Family Mart and a few others restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk - both on the beach and on the road beside the villa. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing holiday.
