Beautiful Location, Lovely Lodge

The lodge is very well appointed and the owners are very welcoming. It is situated in a tranquil setting with wonderful views and within reach of so many interesting and historical places. Lots of wildlife to spot whilst enjoying breakfast or dinner on the deck.

This is a gem, everything about the property and host was perfect.

Beautiful lodge in gorgeous surroundings. Perfect for watching the wildlife. The lodge was comfortable and clean. Host was lovey and helpful.

Lovely relaxing break

Lovely lodge. Very well made and equipt with everything you need. Hosts were very welcoming. Gorgeous views of the countryside, even saw some deer. Amazing stay at Woodside Lodge. Ideal for anyone wanting a quiet break away.

Woodside Lodge

A beautifully equipped lodge in very peaceful surroundings. We'll appreciated welcome pack with the bonus of home made scones. A very very comfortable bed ensures a good night's sleep. Would highly recommend Noisette Catering for meals which are delivered to the lodge by Jo, the owner, as they are absolutely delicious.

Comfort and tranquility

Woodside Lodge was a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use, the lounge area is very comfortable with a wonderful view through the large doors out to the decking and fields beyond. The bed is very comfortable and the shower sparkling clean with plenty of hot water. Gill is a lovely host and she left a basket of fruit, some milk and juice and some tasty fresh scones with homemade jam.

Very comfortable 5* accommodation, Home made scones, fruit from the garden, biscuits, juice, milk etc all waiting for us on arrival. Absolutely lovely accommodation, Everything was pristine and comfortable. Everything you need, shower gel, shampoo, etc., and a well-equipped spacious kitchen. We loved it! Location is superb, on the edge of the village, Lovely walks through the countryside and great for exploring the local area. Thanks, Gina & Paul.

A little gem

This property was wonderful. Exactly as seen in the photos, with a lovely view. Lots of extra special touches which made us feel really welcomed - warm scones with jam and cream, fresh flowers in the lounge and bedroom. Bathrobes, a welcome basket with fruit and biscuits etc. Absolutely could not fault this property and Gill and Neil were very welcoming and happy to help in any way. Would very much recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet countryside break in beautiful Northumberland. 5 stars all the way from us. Julie and Bill.

Away from it all

A lovely property overlooking fields, woodland and a pond, so great as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of normal life. House very comfortable and superbly equipped, with a friendly, but not obtrusive owner. Good local pubs and easy access to Corbridge, Hexham, Hadrian's Wall and loads of local walks.

Excellent relaxing break

We really enjoyed our time at this cottage. It is clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The views over the fields were lovely and the setting peaceful. Gill greeted us upon arrival and was both friendly and professional. The welcome pack had lovely scones, jam and biscuits as well as the essentials. The flowers in the rooms were a nice touch. We hope to return.
