Family trip

We loved our family vacation to Gloucester. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, beaches, hiking, whale watching, sea food, and of course Salem.

Can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed here 3 years ago and fell in love with it. Carey is very accommodating. She even reached out to see if we needed her to get stuff for us before we arrived. Communication has always been great with her as well. Hopefully we can stay there again in a couple more years. My daughter, I, and now my granddaughter we all love New England in the fall. Definitely our home away from home

Great stay

This was a great place to stay. It easily fit my family, including two children. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. It was about 15 minutes from everything we wanted to do around Gloucester.

Cozy apartment rental

Cozy apartment in Gloucester - really the best for location, amount of space available, privacy and the owner's attention to details make our stay very comfortable. It was well stocked with the things that we forgot. We'll keep this rental in mind for future Gloucester stays.

Family getaway in Gloucester

I have stayed in many places around the country and in the Carribean, but this home in Gloucester was one of my favorites! The home was so clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The owner even went out of her way to get us items for breakfast. The home is also close to a lot of the must see spots in the area. The bed and pull out were very comfortable as well! We loved having breakfast and coffee on the deck. We will absolutely be back!!

Gloucester Wonderful spot with indoor and outdoor space

Our Host was fabulous- let us check in early and left us some essentials in the fridge, which was not expected but so thoughtful. Bedroom was lovely with very cozy and beautiful linens. Really great spot. Would def return. Our dogs loved the accessibility to a dog beach , a few min walk away. Will def return

Glosta Fun!

My husband and I were in Gloucester for the first time. Our hostess Carey took care of us in every way. She answered all our questions , gave us great tips and was super kind and friendly. Our rental was super convenient to Rockport and all of New England. It is quaint and provided everything we needed for our stay. We would love to come back and stay again! Super welcoming and personable

Our host was very accommodating as we requested last minute arrangements. She graciously shared her vacation rental and suggestions regarding the area! She welcomed our two English Bulldogs as well. We loved the goodies she provided us and would have spent more time in the area if possible. It was a wonderful stop on our summer road trip! I hope to visit again in the future.

Salem/Gloucester Vacay

Careyann’s apartment is exactly as described! It’s cute, cozy, felt very private and there’s a beautiful view of the ocean. It had everything we needed including breakfast items. Careyann went above and beyond. She was helpful with anything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed getting to chat with her and meet her beautiful pups! We would definitely stay again! I highly recommend!

Dream Perch

Words are not enough to describe the charm and thoughtful details of this canopy abode! This was my first time staying in a short-time rental versus a motel/hotel...and absolutely prefer it...Spotless, sunny, top floor apartment on a hill in a very quiet north shore neighborhood perched above main road for easy access, with fabulous ocean breezes, well-equipped kitchen (with snacks and sundries), great natural light, and views of the Atlantic Ocean and rooftops worthy of Edward Hopper. I loved the views so much, I even painted from one of the windows! Easy walking distance to Plum Cove Beach and Lighthouse Beach, Annisquam, and Lanesville. Ceiling fans in every room, great smelling and super clean, luxurious bed and linens, and well-kept easy in/out off-street parking. Loved the outdoor deck with flexible shade. I was traveling to Cape Ann solo, and this felt so protected and safe. Would totally return. Owner lives downstairs - friendly, highly communicative, and generous with tips only a local person plus even took me on a tour (since i was solo and it was my first time on Cape Ann!) showing highlights of Gloucester and hidden treasures. It's been five days since I've returned home but I still dream of this place and my time there. I would totally stay here again.

Great Location & Even Better Host!

CareyAnn was an outstanding host! She has made her place feel like home. She made She we had everything we could need for our stay. She even supplied snacks and breakfast staples. There were plenty of towels and blankets! The view was amazing! The area is beautiful and very easy to navigate.

Mother/ Daughter getaway to Salem

My daughter and I fell in love the moment we opened the door. Especially when she found some gluten free snacks in the baskets on the counter. 😁 This place is everything you could ask for CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, and COZY. Communication with Carey was great. She was quick to answer any questions we had. I told her we would be going to Salem she had some pamphlets laid out for us to look over of all the local happenings in Salem and the surrounding areas. Really helped us figure out our game planned. My daughter and I hope to come back sometime. There is so much more we would love to see. Thank You Carey!!!!

Lovely

This is a clean comfortable place with good beds and shower. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with everything you might need. There was cereal and plenty of snacks to tide you over till you could get to the grocery store. Host was very responsive if needed and left us alone when not. I highly recommend this home.

Awesome place!

Perfect for 2-6 people! We'll appointed and very clean. Host was simply wonderful and very communicative. There are stairs up, but we managed just fine with our 45-55 aged group. Was a good home base for Boston, Salem, and Gloucester wanderings. Thanks!

Wonderful Getaway

The apartment is warm, inviting, comfortable, clean - and Carey is a wonderful host - responsive, thoughtful, generous. She even provided food/beverages on our arrival so that we didn't need to run out to a store for supplies. The house is walking distance to Plum Cove Beach - and the sunset there is magnificent! Highly recommend!

Very quaint, and convenient to local Gloucester main town, was a great place to stay , just needs bureaus to store clothes if staying awhile, other than that a great getaway to have

It, like everything else, is a work in progress. Always evolving for the better.

Why they chose this property

This rental has everything you need. It is literally turn key, in this case, code entry. You walk in and you are already at home. It's cozy and although isn't a large apartment, the high ceilings give a sense of spacious comfort.

What makes this property unique

The benefit of having owner occupied rental is that if for some reason there's something you need that isn't there. We are ready to accommodate. We probably have what ever you are looking for. With the rental on the top floor, you have great views and don't have to worry abut people walking above you!
