A mixed experience

We stayed in the house for a week this summer (2019) The house is suitable for 8 people. There is a sleeping couch upstairs, but we would not recommend it. There area is beautiful, and surrounding cities (Assisi and Spello) are absolutely charming. The nearby town Cannara is a bit bland but only a 5 minute walk away and there is 2 good supermarkets for grocery’s and a couple of small cafes. There is also a Michelin restaurant, that unfortunately was closed, when we were there. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond on home away. We got a lot of helpful tips - the best a nearby vineyard called “Di Filipino”. Absolutely worth a visit. The house and surroundings is nice but a bit “worn”. From two of the terraces you have view of the mountains and the lights of Assisi in the evening. The only thing that didn’t live up to the standards, that we usually have experienced with home away houses , was the cleaning. Both inside and out (except the pool, which was fine). We did most of the cleaning and sweeping ourselves on the first day to be able to use the facilities, but complained the next day about one of the bathrooms that was very dirty . Unfortunately the owner got very angry about this (because they do the cleaning themselves) and she maintained the anger for the rest of our stay. Her mother and her husband was however kind and understanding, but did not speak english. A very unpleasant situation to be in on a holiday. We highly recommend the area, but if you rent this house don’t complain about anything ;-)

Fantastique !

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans cette superbe propriété, 2 couples avec 4 ados. Agnese et massimiliano sont adorables. Merci à eux, pour leur disponibilité, leur accueil, et leur discrétion. La maison est fantastique à l interieur ainsi qu à l exterieur. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à la piscine et la climatisation dans la maison était très appréciable en ce mois d aout de forte chaleur. La région de l ombrie est magnifique, assises, perugia,...plein de villages à découvrir. La gentillesse de toute les personnes rencontrées nous donne déjà envie de revenir., et nous reviendrons c est sur ! Mille grazie Agnese et massimiliano ! A presto !
