Perfect Family Getaway In Sardinia

Absolutely loved our stay at this location. It had great access to everything we needed. The property itself is stunning, with three buildings on one piece of land so we could separate while staying together. The highlight was definitely the big swimming pool! The host was incredibly flexible and accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly from our arrival to departure. Highly recommend this place for anyone! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing holiday and awesome villa!

The villa is awesome with three separate buildings, excellent facilities and privacy, huge pool and garden. There are two big superstores nearby (less than 5 minuets by car). Mauro is a great host, super kind and always available to accommodate any requests!

Amazing location only 5 minutes drive from Alghero but completely isolated on its own large site. Three buildings with the bedrooms and bathrooms meaning even 10 people staying will have loads of room and the convenience of bathrooms for each room. The host was amazing. Introduced us to the property and was very responsive to any questions or requests going above and beyond. Towels etc all provided and were excellent quality. Even extra towels for pool or beach. Highlight was the pool area with a large pool and outdoor kitchen area. The property was well maintained and perfectly acceptable. It's not very modern or high specification so don't expect a 5 star property. It everything was clean and we didn't want for anything during our week stay. I would love to go back soon. Alghero airport is really close but we flew in and out from Olbia which was about 90 minutes by car.

Everything was as expected, and our host was on hand to give us early access, and to address some minor maintenance issues. We had two hire cars, so travel down to the town and beaches worked fine. The pool kept the kids happy, and the BBQ was used most evenings. The three separate buildings worked well for our three-family party, though kettles in the non-kitchen units would have been useful in the mornings.The discovery of a tortoise on the property was a bonus for the children!

Disappointing

On arrival: No ‘kids play area’ just two swings , jacuzzi not functioning at all during our stay. Swimming pool not useable for 2 days of our 6 day stay due to algae overgrowth and filtration system not functioning. Several items of outdoor furniture broken. Bedroom lights not working, sink and bidet plugs didn’t fit. Problem with ants in kitchen. It all needed care and attention

Wat hebben wij een fantastisch verblijf gehad! Het vakantiehuisje was werkelijk prachtig en het ontbrak ons aan niets. Het zwembad is ontzettend groot en biedt heerlijke verkoeling. Vooral het gedeelte buiten bij de barbecue, met de grote tafel en stoelen er direct naast, was voor onze groep echt een schot in de roos. Hier hebben we heel wat gezellige avonden doorgebracht.Ondanks dat we als groep samen waren, bood de indeling met de aparte huisjes ontzettend veel privacy. Dat werd door iedereen enorm gewaardeerd!Wat ons verblijf echter écht bijzonder maakte, was de gastheer. Wat een top service! Hij stond klaar om ons persoonlijk te ontvangen en uitgebreid rond te leiden. De hele vakantie door reageerde hij razendsnel op vragen, dacht hij flexibel mee en was hij ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Ook de ligging ten opzichte van het stadje is perfect: lekker dichtbij en ideaal voor uitstapjes. Kortom: we hadden het niet beter kunnen treffen. Wij komen heel graag nog eens terug!

We had a fabulous week here. The huge deep swimming pool.was the highlight of our stay and we were very happy to spend time at the house dipping in and out. The aircon was very effective, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of furniture in and outside. We used all 3 of the 'houses' which worked brilliantly with our family group with older children (in their 20s) and their partners. We had a few issues when we first arrived which were sorted out quickly. Some of the kitchen equipment was quite old and we would have liked some more glasses and cutlery, but we managed with what was there and had a fabulous week.

Perfekter Urlaub

Super Lage der Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind super aufgeteilt und jedes Zimmer hat ein seperates Bad. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich, immer erreichbar und wahnsinnig hilfsbereit. Pool wird sofort gereinigt, wenn man sich bei ihm meldet. Sogar Tipps für eine Reifenwetkstatt von ihm bekommen. Super geeignet für eine grösere Motorradgruppe! Man kann schön auf dem Gelände parken. Also eine Anreise mit Transportern ist auch gut machbar. Kommen gerne wieder!

Great stay

The property is set in a wonderful area. Supermarkets, Alghero, as well as the beaches are in close proximity, yet the property is kind of remote in the hills and the perfect place to relax in your own quiet and private space. Communication with both, Mauro as well as his father, has been easy. The property is fantastic for family vacations, as everyone has enough space for themselves. We were the first guests of the season and everything was ready upon arrival. We absolutely enjoyed BBQ-ing outside as well as dining on the very same spot, just beside the pool. Wifi works fine as well. We def. want to come back.

Erholsamer Familienurlaub

Waren 6 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind, da es 3 Häuser waren, hatte jeder sein eigenes Reich. Die Villas liegen etwas außerhalb, daher sehr ruhig . Super ist der große Pool der Anlage. Wir hatten viel Platz. Mauro hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, wir konnten früher einchecken und später abreisen , als zu den angegebenen Zeiten. Wenn wir Mauro brauchten, war er immer gleich zur Stelle, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir können die Anlage mit ruhigen Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Great location!

This Villa is perfect for groups of friends. It has three separate houses (two of which with 2 bedrooms and one with one bedroom, and two more spare beds to set up), a very nice pool, barbecue and nice sitting areas next to the pool or in front of the house. The playground for children only consisted of two swings, but our kids were bigger, so did not need any playground. The equipment is good and you can easily cook and serve for many people. Alghero is very close (by car) and you can find nice beaches in the area and easily travel to Bosa, Castelsardo and other cities in the Northwest. There are supermarkets nearby (within 5 minutes) and many good restaurants. I recommend the Fogo Churrascaria, the meat they served was just great. The road to the house unfortunately was broken (water running down the road which has ruined the road surface over time). We had a big (with high ground clearance) car, so this was no major issue for us. But I hope the city will fix this problem soon, as is also wastes a lot of water. In case you have an electricity outage (we had thunderstormes which led to the outage) there are fuse boxes in each of the houses and the main fuse boxes are next to the garden gate, always good to know :-). Mauro and his father are very nice and kind and always were there to answer our questions (also late at night). We really enjoyed our stay and I definitely can recommend the Villa. P.S. Mauro offers two more Villas just next to this one, which also looked great from the outside. So in case you are travelling with less people, I would recommend to ask Mauro also about these.

Mooie woningen voor een familie met negen personen.

Prima woning, we waren een week hier met negen personen. Goede bedden en een heerlijk zwembad. Het nadeel wat wij hadden was dat de stroom s'nachts uit viel. Dit had te maken met de buitenverlichting die nat werdt van de bereginingsinstallatie(verbeterpuntje). Voor de rest eer aanrader.

Wir haben einen 4 Generationen Familienurlaub mit 9 Erwachsene und 1 Kind in der wunderschönen Anlage gemacht. Hier ist alles vorhanden, gute Ausstattung! Großer Pool , schöner Grillplatz und jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad.Mauro und sein Vater, waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden sofort wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Excellent family vacation

We were traveling three generations together and the three separate houses were very suit for this. We spent most days by the pool, some on sun beds and other in the shade enjoying a drink. We had some minor issues which were solved competently by Mauro. We will definitely return for another family vacation.

Splendid!

We had a splendid time at villa la Rocada., we were 5 couples and it was perfect with the three houses. The pool was also great – deep enough for diving. We felt that we had a hotel all by ourselves. We didn’t have cars, but bicycles. We were out all day and spent the evenings by the barbecue in the garden. Really nice.

FANTASTIK FERIEBOLIG

Fantastisk ferielejlighed til den store familie eller en gruppe venner. Der er 3 huse på grunden , så man har mulighed at bo hver for sig. Til måltiderne samles man omkring det dejlige store bord udendørs lige ved siden af den fantastiske pool. Ungerne og vi voksne gjorde meget brug af denne. Vi vil til enhver tid komme igen!

SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERTE FERIENVILLA!

Diese herrliche Ferienvilla ist besonders für Grossfamilien oder Freundesgruppen zu empfehlen, da die Schlafmöglichkeiten auf 3 Häuser verteilt sind. Ausgezeichnete Kvalität des Ferienhauses samt der gesamten Anlage. Zu den Mahlzeiten trifft man sich an dem grossen, überdachten Tisch gleich neben dem herrlichen Pool. Unsere Kinder und wir haben den Pool sehr genossen! Wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal dort.
