Lovely stay

We spent a lovely week at this villa. The pool and grounds were fantastic and the area was quiet and very pretty. The owners were great and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent holiday

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa is great and the pool one of the best we have ever had. The local area is beautiful with good cafes and a restaurant. Jose was a fantastic host and could not have been more helpful.

Fantastic Stay

Jose's Villa is an amazing place to have a wonderful relaxing vacation. Jose and Helena were so welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The ground around the villa were great to entertaing the Kids and ourselves. We will be back for sure.

Paradise!

Absolutely stunning grounds! The pictures really don’t do it justice. The pool, tennis court and “yard” (it’s the size of a soccer field) back up into the end of a canyon of sort. Complete seclusion! Unreal that places like this still exist in our over populated world. Fireplace, wood burning over outside with BBQ. Would be amazing for a family vacation. Kids would never want to leave!

Beautiful Mountain Top Villa

Great property exactly as described, and the setting and views were just the best! The local town 20 mins drive on the river is Amarante and it stole our hearts. The drive straight down the mountain to a slightly closer town Celorico de Basto is not for the faint hearted, and was not repeated. The TV was in French which was a bonus as we don't speak Portugese. The host was very accommodating of our very late arrival at 11pm due to flight issues and responded to all messages immediately.A great holiday.

Fantástica. A mãe do proprietário foi super simpática connosco logo desde início, disponibilizou-nos alimentos do seu cultivo pessoal, organizou a ida do padeiro de modo a termos pão fresco de manhã. Fomos muitíssimo bem acolhidos. A limpeza na casa é excecional, tem tudo o que precisa para se passar uns dias tranquilos. A melhor parte é mesmo o terreno envolvente, churrasqueira, piscina e campo. Ótimo destino para grupos de amigos, famílias, casais. Agrada todos :)

Magnifique semaine

Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable dans cette propriété magnifique. La maison est adorable et tres confortable. Wir hatten eine erholsame Woche in diesem Haus. Es liegt sehr ruhig in Mitten der Natur. Toller, grosser Pool. Tennis-, Basketball- und Fussballplatz. Die Vermieter gaben uns Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten. Wir können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Uma estadia fantástica

A nossa estadia foi sem dúvida mto boa. tanto o processo de check in como check out correram muito bem.o proprietário logo a chegada meteu o nosso grupo avontade e durante toda a nossa estadia fomos muito bem tratados. O nosso grupo por vezes pode ter feito um bocado de barulho,mas a dona Helena foi sempre super atenciosa connosco e adoramos conhece-la. A casa e o espaço envolvente são incríveis, deu para passar belas tardes na piscina alternando com umas partidas de tênis. Só de apontar que a casa é muito melhor ao vivo que nas fotos, o espaço é incrível. Tivemos uma estadia mto agradável e recomendamos vivamente este espaço.

aktivitet og afslapning

En dejlig og veludstyret feriebolig beliggende i meget rolige omgivelser. Haven er helt fantastisk med appelsin - og citrontræer, kiwibuske og meget andet. Den store pool og tennisbanen blev flittigt benyttet. Så mulighed for både afslapning og aktivitet. Byens lille restaurant er et besøg værd. Eneste ulempe er, at der er langt til indkøbsmuligheder.

Superbe endroit et très bon accueil

nous sommes venus en famille à cinq et nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'endroit. L'accueil de José et de sa maman a été très sympathique, nous avons pu profiter de la livraison du pain le matin par le boulanger ! Nous avons bien profité de la grande piscine et du terrain de tennis pour nous tous seuls. Les photos sont tout à fait conformes et la location était très propre. L'endroit est assez reculé mais en voiture nous avons pu visiter les différents sites en fonction de nos intérêts sans difficultés. Pour information, contrairement à d'autres locations, il faut prévoir les produits de base (sel, poivre, huile, lessive…) Par ailleurs tout est très bien équipé. Nous recommandons cette location !
