About this property

VillasvistaMasaya, double detached bungalow with access to swimming pool

Your guesthouse with Wi-Fi is located in the small-scale Villas Vista Masaya bungalow park, which offers a fantastic view of Lake Masaya.
The bungalow accommodates two people.
It’s quiet here, and the climate is pleasant.

The distance to the paved road is 2 1/2 km, where the town of Masatepe begins.

In town, you can shop at the daily market and supermarket, and minibuses depart from the central park to tourist attractions. We have connections with reliable taxis and motorcycle taxis.

The bungalow is a one-room apartment and is comfortable, with twin beds, one bathroom with a hot shower, and a toilet.
Linens are provided, and the beds will be made upon your arrival. You’ll receive an extra towel for the pool.
If you’d like, you can return the linens to us, and we’ll give you clean sheets and towels in exchange.
The windows have screens and bars, so you can open them to let a fresh breeze into your room.
There is a fully equipped wooden kitchen with a refrigerator and a four-burner gas stove with an oven.
A covered patio spans the full width of the bungalow, where you can hang the provided hammock, and there’s also room for the two rocking chairs and the dining table. To make things easy for you, there are two tables, so one can stay outside.
Local businesses were involved as much as possible in the construction and furnishing, though we naturally paid close attention to quality.
The Wi-Fi signal is strong. There is no air conditioning.
For an additional fee, you can have your laundry done by our staff member Flor.

The park features a communal swimming pool measuring 4 by 9 metres, with a depth ranging from 0.80 to 1.60 metres. Only guests of the park are permitted to use it. Diving is not permitted.
There are hiking trails along the slopes where we grow coffee, but where we have also planted many fruit trees. The many native trees provide wood for furniture or for cooking over a wood fire. The large guanacaste trees provide shade for the coffee plants. Of course, as a guest, you’re welcome to pick the fruits that ripen on the trees.
Birds, butterflies, and other animals are drawn to all these trees and shrubs, and you can often spot them right from your terrace.

Your hostess is Nel. She also lives at the park and is happy to assist you. She has lived here for more than ten years and has been in Nicaragua for over twenty years. She feels right at home in this community of friendly people. It’s peaceful here, and it’s a beautiful nature reserve. She and her staff will be happy to help you if you have any questions and will do their best to make your wishes come true.

Please note that the last one and a half kilometres to the property are on an unpaved road and are less suitable for low-clearance vehicles. Therefore, a car with higher ground clearance is recommended.
During the colder months of December, January, and February, bring a light jacket or jumper if you’d like to enjoy your rocking chair on the patio in the evenings. A torch is necessary in case of a power outage, which, fortunately, is becoming less and less common.
We ask that you lock your bungalow and bring your valuables inside whenever you leave the bungalow.
As owners, we are not responsible for your belongings or your safety. Of course, we do everything we can to prevent any inconvenience. That is why the entrance gate is always closed. As a guest, you are, of course, always free to come and go as you please.
You are responsible for keeping your bungalow clean, but if you wish, you can hire the bungalow park’s cleaning service for an additional fee. At the end of your stay, we ask that you leave everything clean. Pets are not allowed. We have dogs of our own.

Villas Vista Masaya is located 1 1/2 km north of Masatepe, one of the towns of the Pueblos Blancos known for its arts and crafts, beautiful views, and natural surroundings.
People have lived in the hilly hamlet of Nimboja since long before the Spanish discovered Latin America.
