The host was very welcoming and quick to respond. The house was perfect for family of 11 adults having fun playing games, cooking, skiing, reading, hot tubbing and relaxing ! We enjoyed a perfect family day weekend
This Christmas was special, namely because of this breathtaking place that made me feel safe and amazed. The owner's care and attention towards us was felt deeply. I confidently recommend this place, the house and surroundings that fascinated us a lot.
LOVED OUR STAY! Enjoyed the lodge, slip n’ slide, and the walk to the waterfall. Will be planning on staying longer next time so we can do the disc golf course as well.
Amazing place with so much to do right on the property
Will definitely come back. Great hosts, beautiful place and our entire stay was comfortable and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was easy and everything listed on the property was 100% and much more. Can’t wait to experience the location in the summer.
Wonderful lodge with comfortable beds, up to date accommodations, outdoor amenities to enhance your enjoyment experience! Thank you to Mark for all his personal touches...wetland dock, world record paddle, etc...! A vacation to remember!
The property was gorgeous and the disc golf course was beautiful. Mark was kind enough to drop by with some olive oil when we forgot to pick some up in town. Overall amazing stay!

Top-notch trip!!
Very clean, very spacious & fantastic customer service. Would highly recommend this place for all seasons. Fantastic snow shoeing right from the front door!
Will be back!
What an amazing property! Mark is very friendly and they had everything you could possibly need there. The table was fantastic for everyone to sit around and enjoy! Topped it off with a hot tub with the view of the mountains. Would highly recommend
Only 4 stars for accuracy of listing due to so much more to offer.
Family ski trip for 14 We were all pleasantly surprised with what this place had to offer. The host were very accommodating and friendly. I recommend this place to all that are looking. Thank you!
We were a group of 13 moms and 6 babies. This was a wonderful spot to get away for the weekend! Mark came to see us on the evening of check in, and was very kind.
House was clean and as advertised. Would stay again!
We were booked in for the Thanksgiving weekend 2025, from Friday till Tuesday. During that time we did several hikes, the slip and slide and played their disc golf course. All amenities were on the property and close at hand. The main lodge where we stayed slept all 13 of us and 4 dogs. Great showers, full kitchen, laundry and hot tub. The eating area contains the largest log table any of us had seen. Plenty of room for all during meals. I would definitely recommend Columbia wetlands for your next function or holiday. I know we all enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future.
Unbelievable place. We had 9 adults staying there. Lots of room for everyone. The lodge is built for large groups. Lots of rooms, bathrooms, dinning and living areas.
Check in process was flawless. Property was as described, clean, and perfect for what we were after.
Hosts were beyond accommodating. They also provided very helpful information ahead of time re: the surrounding area.
I would recommend this property, and these property owners, to anyone looking to plan a trip in this area.
We had an amazing weekend, we stayed in the whole time and hung out, we had everything we needed and more. We had 6 ladies all had our own room, really well set up for sitting around as a group both for dinning, chilling and outdoors. Would love to take my husband back and our fur baby but obviously a little costly for 2 people, but for the group very affordable. We all have dogs and miss they so it was also a treat to have Nelly the Bernese swing by now and again for cuddles. Wish we could have stayed longer, its beautiful, clean, quite and has everything you would need from walking, fun stuff with the slide down the hill and just to hang out and switch off.
Good fun!We enjoyed our stay at the Outpost very much; everything was as advertised; communication was good.I cannot give full ratings because 1) most of the pots & pans were aluminium or Teflon, which might not matter to other guests 2) the beds were very soft, which might be preferred by other guests and 3) voracious mosquitos, which is to be expected in a healthy wetland but was still a negative. We sprayed-up and walked to the falls immediately after arrival but didn't get there because the kids found the mosquitos unbearable.All-in-all we had great fun playing games (a great variety were provided) in the spacious house, playing golf (Golden course is very nice with enough bug spray), adventuring at the Golden sky bridge, and with Kevin's guided tour of the river. On the sunny afternoons, the kids took advantage of fewer mosquitos to enjoy the slip & slide.Thank you Mark & Marie

Fantastic home in a very quite and relaxing location!
This home and property owner was a great surprise to our entire group. What a wonderful find. We will certainly consider this location again in the future. Our group had intended to have a comfortable stay and continue on. After meeting the property owner and the home, all of us wished we had scheduled more time at this property. This property has more to offer than a place to rest. Many of us commented how nice it would be to schedule another visit just to take in the property and the immediate area. I have marked this location as a revisit for a relaxing stay with close family.
Congratulations to the property owner for creating such a unique and quaint yet modern location in such a scenic valley. Well Done!

This huge house is a great place to gather with friends and family. The house is very well equipped, has several large sitting areas, a spacious kithen and dinning room. The game room and maps room add a special "adventure in the wild" atmosphere.
The main Rockies attractions (lake Louise, Banff) are a bit far.
Mary is a great host and made an effort to help us to enjoy the place. We were there in August - not the best time to visit due to the heat and mosquitos. I guess that the house is perfect at a cooler season
We very much enjoyed are stay at this property. It is well kitted-out with everything you could possibly need and somethings you didn't know you needed like the friendliest dog ever who sometimes comes to visit the backyard. The space looks exactly as pictured and there was room for our group of 6 to spread out and enjoy. The beds and bedding were amazingly comfortable which is not always the case with rentals. We loved it!
The home exceeded our expectations. The mountain views, hot tub, comfy beds and huge dining table for gatherings made this the perfect spot for our gathering!
