A very comfortable, well-furnished and attractively decorated house in a great location, less than 500 yards from the centre of Honfleur and the wonderfully-photogenic Vieux Bassin. Nathalie was a great host, very pleasant and easy to deal with and good on communication. We would happily stay there again.

We had a really lovely and relaxing stay at La petite maison. It's location is fantastic, and we loved having breakfast in the sun trap outdoor space. Paying to park just outside in the road (2.40 per hour) does add up, but it's easy to leave the car in the free car park thats walkable.

Quaint little house conveniently situated for walking into town. Quiet street but parking difficult. Well equipped with thoughtful touches for English speakers.Comfortably furnished. Good communication with owner. As with many older buildings, the stairs and doorsteps needed extra care. Bedrooms leading off each other may not be for everyone.But we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Beautiful home and location

A perfect place for a family with young children. Plenty of clean bedrooms. Short walking distance to pretty much everything Honfleur offers. Nathalie was a terrific host, very communicative and helpful.

Lovely home

A lovely home with all the amenities you need for a lovely vacation. A great location with an easy walk to many local Honfleur attractions. We really enjoyed our time there and Nathalie was a pleasure to deal with.

A relaxing visit to and nice stay in Honfleur

The apartment was clean. It was an excellent place for two families to stay. The beds were comfortable. It was equipped with everything that we needed.The location was great! It was easy to access the harbor and shops. Parking was off-site but not too far away. We paid 6 Euros/day to park.

Wonderful stay, a highlight for our kids

We loved our stay in Honfluer. Nathalie was helpful at welcoming us and explaining everything for the property- parking etc. My kids in particular loved the home. Staying was a highlight of their time in France. They were enchanted with having their own rooms, the space and 3 stories and the character of the home. It was one of their favorite parts of vacation. I wish we could have stayed longer. The adults were comfortable and enjoyed the stay as well.

short golf trip

A lovely home in a fantastic position - right in the middle of Honfleur with a 2-3 minute walk to the harbour basin and all the cafes, restaurants and bars. Beautifully appointed with a lovely terrace to the rear. Just a fantastic break and a complete thumbs up from the 4 chaps who only wish their golf was a good as the accommodation.

Beautiful house in the heart of Honfleur

What a property! We absolutely loved our stay, in every way. Very comfy, well-equipped house, lovely decor, characterful and charming. It’s only a short walk to the boulangerie, supermarket, shops, and the stunning harbour with so many restaurants. Nathalie was very helpful and was quick to answer any questions we had.

Wonderful cottage in a great location

The accommodation is beautiful - quaint and authentic and yet highly functional. We cooked meals perfectly well with the kitchen facilities, slept very comfortably and found the bathrooms to be clean and spacious. It’s a great location - an enjoyable short walk into the centre of Honfleur. I’m not sure we could have enjoyed our stay any more. Thank you Nathalie. We’ll be back one day!

Cute house, great stay

This was a great place to stay. We were within walking distance to town and the waterfront. It was very well decorated and homey. We appreciated the availability of a washing machine and dryer. The wifi was a little spotty in the house, but still manageable. Also, I appreciated having bedrooms enough for the 6 of us that stayed (two couples, and two singles). I did not realize that the two single rooms were connected to the main rooms (meaning you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the single bedroom). One of the single bedrooms did not have a door either. Overall, really liked this place!

Very nice house with a couple of issues

Very nice. Folks should know that the staircase is a little scary. There was no place to hang up anything on the third floor. No bed side lamp in the small bedroom on third floor. Anyone can see right into the living room from the street. Drapes are needed.

Characterful home in an ideal location

We stayed here with our two teenage boys. The divided rooms were a fantastic feature, which allowed our boys to have seperate rooms and lots of space. My husband enjoyed reading in the small room off our bedroom with the window open to the view of the sea beyond the rooftops The house was clean and comfortable, with a nice character feel. The patio garden was a nice place to have supper, or read, although a few pot plants would have been nice, as no view, and no greenery. The biggest downside was the wifi sadly. . My hubby had to use his phone as a hotspot to do a bit of necessary workwhile away. But overall, a great house to stay in in Honfleur, woth 24hr parking available by the quay for €6 per day. Not a huge inconvenience as we spent a lot of time on foot in and out of town visiting the shops, restaurants, and taking in the local bustling atmosphere by the pretty harbour. We went to Bayeax, Deauville beach, and the local Larting track, which the boys loved. Highly recommended!

I carefully note your comment and observations. regarding wifi, Just some information that I will remember to share with my vacationers in the future. Sometimes you have to unplug the wifi box to update it and allow good reception. Thanks for reminding me. as you mentioned, there were plants on the terrace, but I gave up because they die if no one waters them during the stay. I will treasure your advice to find a solution. I am delighted to read that you enjoyed the house as a whole, as well as the pleasure of the charming port of Honfleur. Thank you for visiting my area.

We did not enjoy our stay here and thus do not recommend. There are better alternatives in Honfleur.

Our family of 5 coming from Germany spent 2 nights here during our travel through France in June 2023. Our overall expectations were not met. Our highlights: - cleanliness - old house close to the center Our negative experience: - house smelt musty - dangerous spiral stairs: very stressful with young children; we do not recommend for elderly people either - house not well maintained. Batroom: many paint cracks (humidity issue), non-functioning bulb and rusty lamp (hopefully nobody gets an electric shock), black seals in the showers (moulds), stained toilet seat; Kitchen: clock not functioning, clock of the oven was not set, the sink flew very slowly, used furniture etc - house is worn/used and the pictures of the presentation do not reflect this. Examples: stained carpeted floor, stained green/white sofa (humidity issue); no more black leather seats - Nathalie did not make any recommendations about what to see in Honfleur - the online presentation misleadingly mentioned a parking available and included. Actually, parking is very challenging and expensive. - the online presentation misleadingly mentioned cleaning costs included. Nathalie confirmed costs according to the presentation. Thus, at our arrival, we were surprised when she asked for more money. She did not care about the valid German contract. Her reply: "you should read the presentation more carefully". To stop such comments in front of our children, we just paid. Money seems more important than guests here.

La maison est tout à fait conforme à la description et très bien placée dans Honfleur. les commerces et les restaurants sont à proximité. la voiture pour visiter la ville n'est pas nécessaire et c'est un vrai plus. La literie est très confortable et la maison est très propre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et Nathalie a été très réactive et a toujours répondu rapidement à nos demandes.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Super sauber, alles da, was man braucht und schön ruhig.Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war unkompliziert und sehr geduldig. Das Haus super schön gemütlich.
