With magnificent views of Ullsfjorden and the beautiful scenery that surrounds the fjord, this holiday cottage sits 20 meters from the sea in the small town Sør-Lenangen. The charming holiday home is decorated after owner's own taste. It has a big loft with 2 beds and a baby cradle. Free high-capacity internet/broadband. One set of bed linen with a towel per person is included in the rental price. The house lies next to a smaller road with some traffic. It is the perfect starting point for day trips with car, toe.g. Tromsø, Northern Norway's biggest city. Tromsø is also known as the city of the Arctic Ocean, and many polar expeditions has started here. Lyngen is famous for its scenic nature, which you can enjoy from the house at all times of the year. To the south lies the mountain Jægervasstind and the mighty Lyngsalpene, Europe's northernmost alps. These glacier covered mountains reaches 1800 meters high; an impressive sight. During spring and summer nights when the midnight sun shines, you will want to sit up all night to absorb this special experience. In wintertime, the area is ideal for watching Northern Lights, dancing across the polar sky in all its colourful glory. It also has perfect hiking conditions both summer and winter, and you can go skiing in the mountains. You can fish in the fjord with fishing rods from land. There are several fishing lakes in the area, like Jægervatnet, that has salmon, trout and arctic char. A fishing licence is mandatory for lakes and rivers.
