Natürlich lohnt sich ein Ausflug auf die Insel Visingsö, außerdem nach Eksjö (alte Holzstadt ), wir haben auch 2 Tage in Stockholm verbracht. Sehr schön ist eine Wanderung im Naturpark Omberg, nördlich von Ödeshög. / DIe Umgebung ist für Radtouren geeignet, wenn man bereit ist, die ein oder andere Steigung in Kauf zu nehmen.

Das Haus liegt traumhaft in einem Ensemble schwedenroter Schuppen und Hütten, alter Eichen und eiszeitlicher Monolithen. Im Haus fühlt man sich von der ersten Minute an zuhause, die Inneneinrichtung ist großteils antiquarisch und sehr schön. Die Küche bietet alles, was man als Selbstversorger braucht. Das einzige was uns gefehlt hat, ist eine Waschmaschine, was wohl Platzgründe hat (am Campingplatz in Gränna kann man gegen Gebühr waschen). / Der private Badeplatz am See ist ein Traum, in 2 min ist man zu Fuß dort. / Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit (sie spricht perfekt deutsch) und bleiben dabei dezent im Hintergrund.
