Quit area with excellent view

This was a renovated second floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the bay. The apartment was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and adequate kitchen equipment to make breakfast and simple meals. We were advised not to leave food out due to ants, but as soon as a food item was on the counter there was the presence of ants. The access to the place was a challenge. There was only taxi service from the Ferry to the Police station which left a good 15 to 20 minute walk to the apartment, with flights of old stone steps at the church and flights of steps at the apartment. We greatly appreciated Phillip meeting us at the church to help us with our luggage up the several flights of stair cases, orienting us to the island, and the complimentary homemade wine.

Thank you for your visit and review. Our house is in the nature and we do like to keep it clean all the time. We advise not to leave any food rests outside for the little aints. To provide the awesome sea and bay view we need to climb a few stairs to our location what makes the stay unforgettable to many. Taxi problem you had was because you did not respond to our hostess Laura as we instructed you prior arrival so that she, instead of you, arrange taxi for you telling him where to go to help you find us better and to avoid wondering around as we are a cosy house on remote island, not a hotel in the city. Taxi can come closser, depending on time of the arrival and traffic closing for the old monumental centre where we are part of. Also our location is traffic free 24/7 providing peace and safety even during the peak of the season, yet we are close to everything downtown and beach. That is what makes our place special. For our older guests carrying huge lagguage (you had many suitcases), we send Philipe to assist like it was in your case. Kind regards, the owners.
