My wife and I had a great time. The cabin was clean and cozy. We love to go for hikes and ride our mountain bikes so this cabin is perfectly located between our favorite spots to go and enjoy the outdoors.
We were only there a short period of time but it was perfect for what we needed.

Host was very nice and helpful. We couldn't get in but they updated the code and we got in. There was no firewood except for a few logs but the host said we could go get a bundle off the other cabins porch. There is a chunk of cement in front on the step up to the front porch that is not good. I almost fell on it. The second bedrooms mattress is not great. Don't sit.on the edge of the bed or.it will flip up. In the master when I was plugging in my phone charger it was very dirty. We brought frozen pizzas, I did find a cookie sheet and a pizza pan but it all had to be washed before using. The knives would not cut a thin crust pizza so we had to use scissors but it worked. The floors need to be mopped. It was close to waterfalls, grocery and restaurant. I am not trying to give a bad review because the host was so nice and maybe my idea of clean is different but reviews are done for a reason.

We are sorry this guest had a negative experience at our cabin, as we take pride in 5-star reviews and customer satisfaction.
The Door code issue was resolved within 1 minute once the guest notified us of the problem. We apologized for our error.
As for the bed, we were not aware of this issue until a week after this guest departed and we read their review. An inspection of the bed revealed a slat had been moved to a position that caused the bottom of the bed to be a little unstable. This was corrected immediately upon discovery.
As for the knives, again we were not aware of an issue. New knives have since been purchased and are in the cabin.
As for the steps, the entry way is designed and approved by NC Building code as all of the construction at the cabin. We did find and remove a small stone on the entry path of the home.
We assure guests the floors are vacuumed and mopped between every guest for this cabin.
We did inspect the outlets after this guest departed. One outlet was found to be dusty and that has been addressed.
We feel confident all of this guest's issues could have been resolved in a short amount of time had they contacted or communicated concerns.
We encourage potential guests to review all the great reviews of our cabin before booking.
Wonderful and peaceful cabin in a perfect location. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and will definitely stay the next time we come for more adventures in the Brevard/Pisgah Forest area!
Our host prepared a lovely getaway for a one-night stay in the Brevard area. He offered blueberries from the bushes outside the home as well, which my son loved. Thanks so much for a great stay!
My wife and I came to the area for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Upon arrival we found the house to be very clean and close to Brevard. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time at the cabin! The beds were comfortable, the area was safe and convenient to Pisgah forest and Hendersonville. We visited the apple festival and the kids had a great time. I especially liked the fire pit.
Our place was so comfortable and nice!! We will definitely stay again when we have more time as We were only there for a day. Looking forward to booking again soon😊
Great base camp for days of hiking Pisgah and Dupont State Forests! The cabin was cozy, the shower was amazing after the rainy hikes! Hawg Wild BBQ was amazing as was The Square Root. The blankets were so comfy too! I loved the cabin feel, looking forward to my next trip for more hiking and waterfalls!
This place is precious and very well appointed. I thought the queen bed was comfy too. I loved the space-saving details and the natural decorations. It also has great water pressure in the shower. The bike wash and ev charging we didn’t use, but I loved that they were available.
This was the perfect spot to stop for the night. Would love to come back and spend several days. This trip we were looking for a place to stay after canoeing on the French Broad River. It was perfect. Love all of the little touches. Thanks. We hope to return and will definitely recommend it.
Just as the pictures showed it! Clean and fit our needs for a last minute stay. It’s in the country so you have all kinds of things around you. The front porch was nice during a rain storm to sit and watch the rain.

The property was ok and safe but it was isolated and a little unnerving at first. I would not book it again. Inside was clean but very dark.

Why they chose this property
Ideal location for hiking and biking in the Pisgah National Forest or the Dupont State Forest. Four miles to downtown Brevard, 35 minutes to Asheville. Lots of outdoor space, fireflies, and stars.

New cabin, beautiful, with all the comforts of home. Private, but convenient.
