Michael and family were pleasant and punctual but from their review ( i have translated it with google ) it seem as thug their hurried departure from Castel Volturnois our fault. Our replayis nota as an argument but, it is to clarify some of the points raised. These are all creatures that lives in the countryside alond side the flowers and birds. The House is a villa in the countryside. It has protective screens at all the windows and doors to endevour to keep the inside clear of these creatures. When our guest told us that three forks and a knife was missing within 30 seconds they were given to the guest, still in their new packaging.the bins have plastic bin liners at the start of each holiday stay. But if your stay is for long time , the guests buy them themselves for future uses. Yes the chopping board has knife cuts on it and could be excanged each time, but we did no think it important. We apologise. Reguarding the environment outside, we don’t undestand if Micheal is refering to the area outside the villa or the area of Village of Castel Volturno. The area outside the villa then its part of green lung of the mediterraneam with spontaneus flowering shrubs, trees and cacti plants. If, he is referring to the village of Castel Volturno, we cannot comment. Beauty is based on what the person sees as it’s personal and we respect as the what our guests see. In general before booking a holiday you do some form of research on the local area. Lastly we were saddened that we were unable to help our guests when they told us that the house was beautiful but they were leaving because the area was rundown. They wanted u sto refund part of their holiday. Its an undestandable request but at the same time is bizzare as it was not our fault they left, it was because they did not find Castel Volturno to their liking. The very short notice and the lack of last minute guests did not consent us tobe able toh ave re-let it.
