I stayed here the week of Christmas and absolutely LOVED the whole experience. The views from the balcony were incredible. Most importantly, the host was so amazing. He went out of his way to put Christmas lights in the room per my request to have a little festivity. He was also very responsive to any needs. I will definitely come back!
Have stayed here many times and will come back again. Always comfortable, clean and everything one needs. The Mexican restaurant right next door is good too!
The room was what you would expect for something built in the 1900’s. They did have a fridge and microwave which was nice. The bed was comfortable. The real downside which is not their fault is there is only one restaurant in Clarksdale. You have to drive to Cottonwood for everything which thankfully wasn’t far. They did have a small farmers market being held while we were there
Have stayed here many times and have reviewed many times too. We will be going back. A consistent pleasant stay and has all we need. It's our go to place.
The building is old but quaint. Walkable to downtown - super convenient for Clarkdale activities. Would have liked more restaurants nearby.

We stayed at this VRBO. It was clean and safe. We had a slight problem on arrival but it was taken care of quickly. The shower was nice and had dispensers on the wall with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There was also a small fridge and freezer for food so you don't have to eat out all the time. Also there was a microwave and coffee maker Very pleasa t stay.
We loved this peaceful lodge! It was in town center! Lovely area to walk around! But the lodge it self was very tranquil. The vews from the upstairs deck were breathtaking! The stars were so bright! Definitely bring a telescope! They has games, and books and the space to enjoy them! Close to excelt food, and mind blowing attractions! Thank you, Daniel!!

I tried to communicate with the host, but didn’t hear back until the next day. I’d prefer a better contact system.
The room was cozy, and clean. The building is historical and thus has a few quirks and things not in perfect order. We expected this and have no complaints. Our upstairs neighbor was a bit noisy the first night but settled down early enough that we didn’t care too much. We didn't see our hosts at all but the made themselves available via phone. They gave us our room number and code via message and all that was needed for check in and out was to enter/leave.
The room was fine and the lodge was quiet. The shower was hot. The only issue I encountered (besides checkin) was that the coffeemaker didn’t work. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience and convenient to where I needed to be.

disappointed
Property is certainly in need of updating. Bed was not very comfortable, just too many little things wrong that my wife was disappointed. We ended up only staying one night. Went to a hotel instead.

Never again
Studio but NOT a king bed. Holes in the walls and drywall that made me feel like I walked into a Psycho movie. Huge gaps in the doors and windows so the 26 degree wind came right in. Ran out of toilet paper 2nd day and couldn’t get the manager to replace, went to the store ourselves. Ad said no children but kids above us ran around until 1am. The worst experience staying anywhere VRBO with other good reviews. We left 2 days early and went to Prescott. We love old places and history so that wasn’t the issue

The room has a King size bed. I buy the sheets, so it would be tough to make a mistake about this. As she points out, we get consistently good reviews because most guests are very happy with our rooms and apartments. Nowhere do we claim to not allow children. We brought her toilet paper and left it outside her door at 6:30pm (she wasn't answering). The television in the room was turned on extremely loud, so we thought perhaps she couldn't hear us knocking. The next morning, the TV was still on maximum volume so we let ourselves in to make sure she was OK. It seems she had turned up the TV to max volume to exact revenge on the child in the room next door. It worked. The other guests had to listen to the extremely loud TV sound all night. She also left used syringes in the room which I thought was totally unacceptable behavior. Please read our other reviews for a more balanced notion of what we are like.
Perfect for the two of us. Cozy and clean. A little refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and regular coffee maker and owner supplies great coffee. Roomy enough for the two of us and comfortable bed. Good air conditioner. TV is Direct TV. We were there on a business trip and this is our second time staying here. Will stay again.
Needed a quiet space to stay with our dog.
We had everything we needed in the room for a two night stay. Overall, it was quiet and a great place to stay.
A very quaint, and adequate room at the Clarkdale Lodge. My room was immaculate and had views looking out to Jerome and Verde Valley railroad. Lights up to Jerome at night very beautiful. However, there was no identification of the property in the listing, I had to research on Google to find it so I could confirm it and my dates. Overall, good value for the price.
Property was old but nostalgic, but was just shabby very poor maintenance and trip hazards everywhere, not very secure rooms, open rooms with clutter our tv remore had dead batteries I had to buy my own as no management on property, would I stay there again no not at there rates, could have stayed at a much nicer modern hotel for a fee dollars more. ☹
Perfect for me and my pooch away from the craziness of Sedona. A little disconcerting to not lay eyes on my host/hostess. Wonder about the emptiness of downtown — COVID closures of so much? But I enjoyed my stay very much.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Worth the money. Will be back
This property was super close to all attractions. Within walking distance to the AZ Copper Art Museum and downtown Clarkdale. The Museum is fabulous and a must see! The Clarkdale Caboose (Violette's Bakery) has great breakfasts and lunches! Go early and get the homemade croissants. We enjoyed our time. We got the last of the rooms in the Lodge. It was comfortable, clean, but small -- just a bedroom and bath. We appreciated having our own private bath.
Clarkdale Lodge has all The things: updated, clean modern rooms in a quaint lodge setting. Two beautiful patios That overlook the Verde Trailway. This is our second Stay and will be our last!
The TV didnt work,so by the next day! they final came to see what was wrong. They did get it fixed
The grounds had a lot of weeds, very dry around the hotel, bad for fires!! The bathroom toliet leaked. I had to go online to get information about where to go to eat. No office personal on grounds. We will not stay there again
