This 1100-square-foot rustic cabin has everything you could want in a rental property. The interior has hard wood floors and cypress walls. A hot water, outdoor shower is available for showering off the kids or just bathing outside with good old mother nature. Brand-new, central heat and air makes even the hottest day very comfortable.
Now let us talk about the real enticer! Our beautiful white sand beach. Build a fire and watch the stars or roast some weenies with the kids. The beach offers a place to get out of the sun with barbecue grill, picnic table and play area. Experience a private vacation like no other. The local is great. Love the creek. The cabin it self could use some TLC. The tub needs a handle or something as it is very hard to get in and out. The outdoor shower is nice.

We loved our trip to this cabin! It is perfect location to relax with friends or with the kiddos. We will definitely be back! The private beach is so perfect, next time we will bring tubes and canoes to explore the creek further! Water is crystal clear and sand is so white!

It was a blast!

We had an amazing time! We only live an hour away so it wasn’t a bad drive. We have an autistic 6 year old little girl so being secluded and having the private beach was awesome! Can’t wait to make this trip every summer.

Perfect get away!

If you are looking for a quite get a way this is the place. Definitely not for everyone but exactly what we were looking for! Rustic cabin with what you need, nothing fancy, no frills. We took rafts and just floated for 2 days in the cool, clear sandy creek. Enjoyed talking to the occasional kayakers as they came by. We enjoyed it so much Mr.Rea let us extend our stay for another day! We will definitely be back very soon!

Best Cabin in Best Location!

This was the cutest cabin ever! The privacy and seclusion was so nice. Beautiful beach on the river. Great for our dog Gator to play in! Other dogs in area came around but all were friendly. We could hear others in the area but not loud enough to bother us or our stay. Cabin had every thing in it you would need for your stay. It was just me and my partner and our dog, but cabin had two Queen bedrooms and two big couches. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK!!!!

Weekend getaway

Cabin needs some maintenance. Front and side deck needs replacing. Some crown molding in one of the rooms is loose.A curtain or shutters for the front door would be nice.The outdoor stage also needs some work. The location is good and we spent a very peaceful and relaxing weekend.

Misleading description

We were looking for a new location to stay on Red Creek and picked this one due to its location/‘private’ beach. Although the beach is ‘private and secluded’ from the public it is shared with two other cabins. We were there while another large family stayed in the other cabin, making the beach not so private and noisy. The beach itself is very nice, it could use some TLC— cans, cigarettes butts, trash clean up but overall not bad. The description was misleading, just be aware it is not truly private.

Great location

The location was great! The listing needs updating as furniture has changed since the pictures were made. It is advertised as sleeping 6 but only sleeps 4. I believe the ad was written when it had a pull out couch. There are only enough towels for 4. Be aware that the well water has high iron content and is red so you may want to take your own water. We didn't communicate with the owner once we reached site because none of us had signals. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the visit but it is not truly as advertised. It is overpriced for the accomodations but you are really paying for great access to the creek.

Perfect getaway not to far from NOLA for us

We found this place and picked for my sons birthday weekend as it is not to far from NOLA about 2 hours give or take. We got there and could not believe how peaceful and perfect it was, this little cabin just perfect for our little family. They had everything you needed from dish soap to laundry soap, clean linens and towels and even some rafts that I guess previous guests left that we gladly used! We lit up the lights by the beach and grilled and it was just perfect! The water was great and just what we were hoping for, it is not to far from Flint Creek and the little water park they have there, we spent about an hour there and the kids were ready to back to the creek and play. We will be booking again for sure! The biggest plus my husband said other than location and beach was the AC it worked great in this aweful summer heat! Only thing which was not a drawback for me was the tv signal was messed up kids were upset at first but quickly got over it. (AGAIN I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT TV)

2bedroom 1bath cabin

The jacuzzi tub would not turn off and couldnt find the breaker box. Eventually found it behind a picture. Had to turn the breaker off to keep the motor from overheating. I would suggest removing the photo hiding the breaker box. Also, the breaker was not exposed to show the that it belonged to the tub so we had to use a stick to turn it off. The bed linens had dirt and stains on them. The jacuzzi tub was not clean. We had to clean it with dishwasher tablets. It is clean now. The outdoor shower is leaking at the hot water where it is strapped secure keeping the shower at a constant temperature. Back security lights do not work. Suggest putting an outdoor ceiling fan or an outlet to plug a fan into on the back porch. No laundry detergent was in the cabin. The towels were sour smelling. Not enough toilet paper was left. Hot and cold water was switched on the tub spout and the spout is very loose. No place to put the handheld shower head so we had to hold it to use it which was a little difficult. Overall we LOVED the cabin and the location. Nothing above kept us from wanting to come back. If you are wanting to sell the units at any time please shoot me a price you would entertain. I would love to purchase them. Also, I am also a REALTOR in the state of Mississippi. If you are working with another REALTOR please disregard the rest of the paragraph. It was very nice we enjoyed it, will be back soon loved it next time I need to learn what kind of fish is in the water so I can catch me a big fish but I really enjoyed myself and my family did too

Girls get away

We enjoyed the beach but due to weather didn’t get to kayak creek. Beach area is very nice. Mosquito were bad at the cabin due to all the rain and there is water behind the cabin. Bring plenty of bug spray. The cabin needs updating there was duct tape holding down the floor in the kitchen. The roof on the back over deck is rotten and some deck boards were too. The bathroom is a bad design due to having to go thru bathroom to get to back deck. The grill was small with wheel falling off. The owner was super nice answering my text and letting us check up a little early. I will try another cabin next time..

We love this place!

This is our favorite getaway! It is so peaceful, our cell phones barely work (which is awesome!), and our dogs can run and play. This is our second stay, and we are already planning to go back!

First timers in cabin rental!

We just returned from our stay at Uncle Ralph’s Cabin on Red Creek. It was an awesome experience. We grew up camping on Red Creek and to get the chance to come again has been a dream come true. If I had any negative, it would be that table lamps would be nice for late night reading. The grounds are very nice and the cabin was very quaint and comfortable. We will be back again next year! Thank you for a great experience!

The camp is the Best,The weather was an uninvited guest that severely wore out its welcome.. but we will happily return again and again. This was our first time renting, not our last.
