Beautiful Tuscan farmhouse in Lazio

We stayed here over ferragosto week and loved everything about it. The kitchen was well equipped with everything for our group of 4. The outside BBQ area was very large and we had the entire area to ourselves. The pool with the covered area is perfect for little ones jumping in the pool and parents relaxing in the shade. Food shops are within a 5 minute drive and there are nice towns around to visit all within half hour drive. Overall a very relaxing holiday. The house is beautifully restructured and beautifuly furnished.

Wunderschönes Landhaus am Bolsenasee

Wir haben 10 Tage in diesem wunderschönen sehr ruhig gelegenen Anwesen 5 km von Montefiascone und Marta entfernt verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung der Fewo war hochwertig, der große Garten und der Pool waren sehr gepflegt und mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, sie war immer zu erreichen und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben zu Ausflügen und Gastronomie.

séjour dans un magnifique domaine

Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux et plein de bons conseils de Valeria, très soucieuse de nous satisfaire. La maison est grande, propre et bien équipée pour répondre à nos besoins et les différentes terrasses et espace piscine ont été très appréciés. Le domaine entre les oliviers est magnifique et immense le calme qui y règne est bienfaisant. idéalement situé pour visiter des sites intéressants Merci à Valeria pour sa disponibilité

Traumhaftes Bauernhaus mit toll gepflegtem Gelände und Pool

Gerade in diesem Corona Sommer war die Situation zunächst sehr unsicher, doch die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern klappte hervorragend. Das Haus ist ein liebevoll hergerichtetes altes Bauernhaus im Stile der Region, in dem sich vier Wohneinheiten befinden. Eine fünfte Wohneinheit ist in einem ca. 10 Meter entfernten separaten Häuschen untergebracht. Auf dem ganzen, sehr gepflegten Gelände sind lauschige Sitzplätze zu finden . Der Pool wird jeden Tag gereinigt, der Poolbereich mit zwei Duschen liegt etwa hundert Meter vom Haus entfernt. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist die Anfahrt über eine 2 km lange holprige Nebenstraße, die jedoch gleichzeitig eine abgeschiedene Ruhe garantiert. Ein wunderschöner Sommerurlaub in einem sehr gepflegten Anwesen.

Abgeschiedenes Anwesen – Top gepflegt auf gehobenem Niveau

Wir hatten die Wohnung für eine Woche im August gemietet. Die Anlage besteht aus insgesamt 5 Wohneinheiten. 4 Einheiten im Haupthaus und eine Einheit in einem gesonderten Haus. Jede Wohnung hat eine bzw. zwei eigene Terrasse(n) bzw. einen eigenen Balkon. Wir haben eine der Wohnungen im Erdgeschoss bewohnt. Wie man auch auf den Bildern sieht, ist die Wohnung geschmackvoll in einer Art Landhausstil eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung ist vollständig und funktional. Das gilt auch für das Badezimmer. Alles hat bestens funktioniert und es gibt dort eine Menge Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Betten sind bequem und das gesamte Haus ist sehr sauber. Das Grundstück ist so groß, dass man immer die Möglichkeit findet sich zurückzuziehen. Es gibt eine Vielzahl an Sitzmöglichkeiten über das Grundstück verteilt sowie einen großzügigen Barbecuebereich zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung beim Haupthaus. Der Pool und Poolbereich ist relativ großzügig und mit diversen Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten ausgestattet. Auch hier alles top gepflegt. Bei der Ankunft sind wir sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Vor Ort ist tgl. der Haushälter / Gärtner Singh ansprechbar, welcher uns auch reichlich mit selbst angebautem Gemüse versorgt hat. Zusätzlich besteht direkter Kontakt zu den Vermietern über WhatsApp. Wir haben auf unsere Fragen immer eine schnelle und engagierte Antwort bekommen (Thank you, Olimpia). Auch die im Vorwege getroffenen Absprachen wurden umgesetzt / eingehalten. Innerhalb der einen Woche gab es in der Mitte einen Wäschewechsel und die Wohnung wurde gereinigt. Das Haus liegt abgeschieden und ist von der Landstraße über ca. 2,5 km Schotterweg zu erreichen. D.h. vor Ort sollte man motorisiert sein. Zum Zeitpunkt des Reviews vermitteln die eingestellten Bilder einen realistischen Eindruck des Anwesens. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt, der bereits gebucht ist.

High spec villa, private and luxurious. Ideally located for recharging your batteries.

The villa is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, kiwi fruit plantations, woodlands, and is a stone's thow away from Montefiascone, the Bolsena lake, and Viterbo. The province of Lazio has much to offer in terms of food, drink, historic hilltop towns, landscapes, nature, and tourist destinations. The bonus is that Lazio is less popular, as most tourists flock to Tuscany, which means that the people around us were mainly local Italians. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owners, Giuseppe and Valeria, who were most generous in offering the largest apartment to us at no extra cost, as we were the only guests staying at the villa. There are four apartments in the main building, two downstairs with terraces front and back, and two upstairs with a balcony and a mezzanine floor. There is an additional 2 person cottage next to the villa. Our kitchen was so well equipped, that we often ended up staying in and cooked the glut of vegetables that we received from Singh, the gardener/care taker. The nights we did go out for dinner, restaurants were close by and easy to find; a rental car is essential when hiring this property. The furniture and decoration inside, as well as in the grounds, were tasteful, well-coordinated, and of a high finish. There is plenty of seating in the grounds, providing multiple options for relaxation and shade. We booked this holiday last-minute, deciding to find some sun after a tiring house move and a grey English summer. Valeria and Giuseppe were very easy to contact, and very responsive to our needs during the stay. Again, generously allowing us to stay beyond the check out time because we had a late flight out, and the apartment was cleaned in the middle of our ten day stay, as well. The pool was the main attraction for us in booking this trip, and proved to be a delightful place to spend the day and soak up the sun. It is long and deep enough to be able to swim lengths, with a shallow end big enough to play in. The sunbeds and loungers are plentiful, the gazebos and parasols provide shade, and there are some pool toys. The route from the villa to the pool is through the orchard, where we picked fresh figs from the trees that were warmed up by the sun. Delicious. This is a gem of a place, and deserves many visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here, and would happily return.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt auf grossem Anwesend

Wir hatten zwei Wohnungen für zwei Familien für 14 Tage gemietet, alles ist super ausgerüstet (Kochen, Bad, gute Betten) es fehlt an nichts und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Kinder liebten den riesigen Garten, den grossen Pool, die Hollywoodschaukeln und die vielen Fruchtbäume, wo man Pfirsiche, Feigen und vieles mehr direkt pflücken konnte und essen. Da es viele unterschiedliche Aufenthaltsorte auf dem Grundstück gibt, kann man je nach Tageszeit einen anderen Ort aufsuchen. Die umliegenden Ortschaften (Vitterbo, Marta, Montefiascone, Bolsena) sind alle einen Ausflug wert. Die Landschaft ist traumhaft und die Abgeschiedenheit auch, man kann den Ort nur empfehlen! Giuseppe und Valeria sind tolle Gastgeber, die sich liebevoll um einen kümmern. Man merkt, dass ihnen das Anwesen und die Gäste am Herzen liegen. Vielen herzlichen Dank!
