CLEAN BED GUARANTEE
All beds are dressed with fresh, luxurious sheets AND fresh bedding/quilts/comforters before EVERY rental! You are guaranteed to have a completely fresh and clean bed!!! You will also find each bathroom stocked with oversized fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats straight from our laundry office! We started this in 2018 when we took our cleaning in house and created our housekeeping division. We have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance.

WHAT WE STOCK
As common for vacation rentals in our area, we provide one round of bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find one round of paper towels laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. These stocked amenities are intended to get you through the first night. We are not set up like a hotel so we do not provide daily housekeeping or amenity restocking. Please bring the extra items you will need for your vacation.

Perfect for families

This was our second stay at Beachside 8. And again our family of 16 had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and comfortable. Beach access is great especially for those with trouble walking. The new ramps are a helpful addition. We all especially love the porches filled with comfy furniture. Thanks so much for the happy memories

This beachhouse was great!! Beautiful porches overlooking the beaches. The bedrooms were very nice and well decorated. They neighhood amenities were very nice. Pavillion with bar b que pit, pool, which was cleaned daily and tennis courts. The beach associated with the neighood was not crowed and always clean.

The property was very nice! Lots room ! I would suggest they need rugs at entrance to home. Would have loved a hot tub by pool. Basketball courts would be better than tennis courts for kids. But it was a awesome place to stay! Would definitely stay again!

Coldest Christmas in 40 years!

Excellent home to spend the coldest Christmas in 40 years! The place was homey, spacious and well lit. The sunrise/sunset views of the beach were amazing from the bedroom balconies. Tennis court and pool were nice. Location was easy to get to all the necessities. The only small flaw was that all the TV's needed updates and took time to correct.

This house was even better than the photos. It is a lovely and comfortable home. Easy access to the beach for those who struggle with walking! The kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the porches. Downstairs rooms were great for the young people ( maybe to get away from the old people 😁 ). Our family has all ages and everyone was happy. Perfect 😎

Extended Family Vacation

This house was great for our large extended family vacation. The multiple master bedrooms with private bathrooms was nice for the multiple families we had in our group. The kitchen had just about everything we needed--even large pots and pans--except pot holders. We did have issues with the plumbing (one toilet wasn't able to be used and only 1 of the 3 showers had hot & cold water). My one suggestion would be have places for people to hang wet suits to dry. But the location and large deck was phenomenal. We are already talking about when we should plan another trip to the very same house!

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family of 8 adults and 2 children with no problem.

We had a few issues; couldn't find high chair (which was listed on items in house & we greatly needed). The management company brought us a substitute, but it took a day to get it. There was no tv service in the main living room, which was upsetting to some of our family with hockey and basketball playoffs going on. The cable company didn't come until Thursday and we had to make sure someone was at the house for them to get in. He explained to us that the owners were only paying for 1 cable box and it had been moved into another bedroom. It would have been nice if someone had come after our first contact and tried to show us how to use the tv since there were like 8 remotes. We have some very tech savy children & they were trying & trying to get the right input, etc to no avail. The house was beautiful and I would go back in a minute, it's just unfortunate we had these 2 issues. The walk to the beach was so close and the pool area and tennis courts were wonderful. It is in a great location and the views from the decks are amazing!

Perfect Beach Vacation

This home totally exceeded our expectations! The entire home is decorated beautifully and is very comfortable. From the huge beachfront deck, kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals, refrigerators on 2 levels, tons of high quality linens, comfortable beds and community pool, it is the perfect home for a multi generational beach vacation.

House was awesome and pretty much what we were hoping for. One downside was the main door of entry which was off the deck… The door handle itself the screws were loose and was difficult to open plus the shutters on it were broken and kept getting in the way. The only other negative thing was the busybody who made the beach guys move our rented chairs and umbrella because one chair went past the borderline. This was kind of a pain since there were eight of us and three kids ages 1 to 3. On the positive the view was outstanding

Mother’s Day at OB

Entire family went to Beachside in OB, AL, to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. We stayed in unit 8 next to the beach. VRBO was easy and the agents were all excellent and very helpful.

Great vacation location and house for extended family of twelve.

Great Location, Nice Facilities, Safe Feeling even during Covid expansion. Facility support was helpful upon arrival. Liked staff putting up hurricane protective panels. However, on third day after hurricane threat was over, staff obviously had forgotten to move panels back. We had to figure them out and move them back ourselves. Facility appeared clean. With Covid concerns especially for two babies, we cleaned further for first three hours of our stay. Decks were greats with nice view and Trex like material. Chairs and tables on main deck were great. Would have been nice to have had a few chairs on upper deck. Found first day that Kitchen window had fallen, leaving 6 to 12 inch gap above top window. We pushed top window up, but it would not stay up. It fell back down multiple times. This let bugs into the house throughout the entire time we were there. One large bug was found buy my wife as she was sleeping at night but awoken by the flying/crawling bug on her face and pillow. She didn’t like that, to put it nicely. Two bottom slide out shelves in refrigerator were broken to where they wouldn’t slide upon arrival, reported, and never fixed. Issue was middle brace between the two shelves had previously been removed, but never replaced. Our question would be how many families have had to see that unusable this year. Downstairs bedrooms were hard to sleep in due to extremely loud a/c units just outside their window. Needs a/c unit sound insulation. Didn’t use available toys, beach supplies, etc., due to Covid concerns., but nice to have them offered. Pool was great for kids. Outside showers from broad walk and hoses at house and pool was very helpful. Boardwalk to and from beach was very nice and helpful. Large driveway and parking area were very nice and helpful. Spacing between houses was helpful, especially considering Covid concerns.

An Unbelievable Stay!

I 100% recommend staying at this beach house! The location is AMAZING, the house itself is GORGEOUS, and the amenities are TOP-NOTCH! I was also impressed at how well Alabama Getaways kept in contact with us, and it was so easy to reach out to them. We had 4 families and this was the best vacation we've ever had!

Great location. Quiet community. Nice pool and grill scene. Easy access to beach. The beach service information given in the check in info was misleading. I contacted both services listed and neither would come past the property line to set up chairs and umbrellas. House needs a few updates. Overall,, great views and relaxing accommodations.

Beautiful Home Beautiful Stay

House was great. Lots of space. Clean. Comfortable. Downstairs was rather damp though so I’m glad we didn’t end up needing those two bedrooms down there. The extra refrigerator down there was nice. Beautiful views of the water and beach from both decks. The only thing missing from the property that we would have liked was a lounge chair or two on the house’s decks.
