Great Property

Wonderful property right in the heart of Chianti . Wonderful restaurants near by. We stayed a month so we needed groceries and there is a village only 10 minutes away.. Sienna only 20 minutes away. All major hill towns within easy driving distance through some beautiful country side. Villa is fully equipped with everything you need. Fabio the owner is a pleasure to deal with.

We spent 4-weeks at Fabio’s place. We had an amazing time. There are 3-levels to the apartment. On the main level there is a wonderful outdoor space with a table seating 6. When you enter the space you are in a kitchen area with dining area and small living space and full bathroom. The second level has a dining area, small living space with an outdoor seating area with a peaceful garden. Also this floor has a full bathroom. The third level has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. There’s a queen bedroom and two twins in the other. Both have AC and a small patio. The views out of every window are spectacular. The multi levels made it easy to sleep in the upper level while others played cards on the first level. Also the pool was a wonderful respite from the heat. There are many wonderful restaurants close by and we never had a bad meal. Our host recommended a cooking class with Paola that was outstanding. We highly recommend booking with her. She is only a 7 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the apartment. We hope to return again soon. The only negative was that we had to leave :(.

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Über drei Etagen war alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Besonders toll war der große Pool, in dem man Bahnen schwimmen konnte. Die Schlafzimmer lassen sich klimatisieren für warme Nächte. Hervorzuheben ist der sehr nette und zugewandte Kontakt zum Vermieter. Er hat uns schon vorab Tipps für die Reiseroute geschickt und uns mit Ideen für Tagesauflüge und Besichtigungen versorgt. Er hat Hilfe angeboten, wenn etwas sein sollte und war meim Check In und auch vor der Abreise persönlich vor Ort. Vermisst haben wir nur Kleinigkeiten wie Liegen für die Terasse. Alles in allem können wir das Haus sehr weiterempfehlen.

Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in Villa a Sesta. De eigenaar was aardig en reageerde altijd snel als we vragen hadden. Bij ontvangst stond er in de keuken een mand met wijn, olijfolie en andere Italiaanse lekkernijen.Enig negatief punt betreft de airco: één van de twee airco's op de slaapkamer lekte continu. Bovendien moesten we elke dag het externe reservoir legen.In de woonkeuken op de benedenverdieping is geen airco, daardoor was het erg warm in huis. Een airco in de woonkeuken met de hoge temperaturen is echt een must in het vakantiehuis.

Regarding the air conditioning, I would like to clarify: In the basement kitchen on the ground floor, we measured a constant temperature between 23 and 26 degrees in August (so air conditioning is not necessary in this area). Regarding the specific air conditioning, I explained to her at check-in how it should be used. In the following days, my daughter came to explain further. None of the previous guests had any problems.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Chianti Classico

Das Haus befindet sich in wunderbarer Lage direkt an Weinbergen und Olivenhainen und ist Teil eines kleinen Weilers. Die Objektbeschreibung trifft ohne Einschränkungen zu und der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und freundschaftlich. Villa A Sesta mit sehr guten Restaurants ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Lage ist hervorragend geeignet für Tagesausflüge nach Florenz, San Gimignano, Siena, Arezzo, Assisi und natürlich in die Weinorte im Chianti sowie Montepulciano und Montalcino.

Ruhige Oase inmitten herrlicher Weinberge

Das Wohnhaus ist ruhig gelegen inmitten herrlicher Weinberge. Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen oder Radtouren in den Bergen und Hügeln des südlichen Chianti. Es verfügt über eine vollständige Ausstattung (inkl. Pizza-Holzofen!) und ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl, und werden bestimmt wieder kommen!
