Fabulous location.

Fabulous location. The cottage is really well equipped and toasty, especially when you light the fire. Would definitely recommend it, and we would love to stay again. Bring binoculars as there is loads of wildlife right on your doorstep.

Nice and well eqipped and comfy cottage in a stunning location with sea and mountain views. Peace and quiet and wildlife all around. 8 miles from a small shop and pub serving food plus the turntable ferry to Skye ( summer only) an experience not to be missed.

Brightwater Cottage is extremely comfortable and well-equipped.

Brightwater Cottage is extremely comfortable and well-equipped. Its position in Arnidale on the shore of Loch Hourn make it ideal for exploring the area by walking and kayaking. Excellent wifi despite remote location. Particularly friendly and helpful neighbours in the village and a warm welcome at Sheena's Tearoom in the adjacent village of Corran. Very homely cottage with fantastic views across the loch.

Very homely cottage with fantastic views across the loch. Fully enclosed garden safe for the dogs. The location at the end of a quiet single track road meant very little traffic. Wonderful walks in the area through the forests and glens. Perfect location for kayaking, and fishing - caught several mackerel. Had been worried about availability of local shops so took plenty of food supplies, but in fact the shop in Glenelg (approx. 15 min drive away) is well stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arnisdale. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A cosy place to retreat to! The views were breathtaking.

A cosy place to retreat to! The views were breathtaking. Particularly enjoyed a day on Sandaig bay and a long hike from Corran through the mountains. Lots of close sightings of stags, a young fawn and eagles. The view across the loch was a joy to wake to each morning. We’ll definitely make the long journey back soon. Pack plenty of groceries so you can relax and enjoy the view without a long drive back to the shops!

Cottage in a fantastic location and for us with 2 dogs, having a fenced garden was a real plus.

Cottage in a fantastic location and for us with 2 dogs, having a fenced garden was a real plus. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need. Really though felt the bathroom let the property down a little being situated next to the entrance lobby and having no heating apart from a wall-mounted fan heater- pretty cold in the mornings! We booked knowing that Arnisdale had no amenities and that was an attraction for us- the nearest facilities are 9 miles away in Glenelg, although you should try Sheila's Hut tea shop in Corran about a mile away. Great walking nearby and a real sense of getting away from it all.

Beautiful location and the cottage is equipped with everything you need.

Beautiful location and the cottage is equipped with everything you need. The Wi-Fi was spot on too (Great for checking in on real life now and again) The bed was comfortable with extra blankets provided and the shower was fine. (Bit nippy in the bathroom in the night but a wall heater is available for a quick burst of heat. Nearest small shop is around 9 miles in Glenelg but I'd already done my shopping prior to arrival. An extremely remote location which is exactly what I wanted. Definitely hoping to return again at some point.
