History-lovers can enjoy lovely small-town charm in this home located in the heartland of Missouri only 3 miles north of major I-70. Minutes from historic Arrow Rock. Stroll downtown Blackwater, an old railroad town, for antiques, restaurants. 80 miles from Kansas City, 100 miles from St. Louis, 35 miles from Columbia, 12 miles from Boonville. You will love it!
This home is a labor of love. This has been a family home for 90 years. This newly refurbished home is meant as a quiet retreat for non smokers. All amenities are included. Please be respectful of this historic home. Only two 3-inch steps opens to an easily accessible house, all on one floor. New dishwasher available. I'll provide coffee. All other food must be provided by guests. There is a small grocery store in town. Enjoy the area! You will love it.

We went to the play and the house was perfect . We took a nice walk around the neighborhood. Shopped at the Mercantile and went to the stores in Arrow Rock . The beds were comfy and the dining room table worked good for games. The front porch was nice to sit and have our morning coffee.

This is a beautiful property that is well maintained. Particularly if you love the historic homes with the dark woods that have been kept in their original form this is a particularly beautiful place. Like older homes it does have some of that musty smell like you might find in a museum. There are candles around and that helped a great deal. The owner Kay is very responsive and easy to work with. We had everything we needed at the house and the neighborhood is lovely!

The bridesmaids house … great place to get ready for the wedding. Wonderful front porch, back deck, and sun room gave us plenty of areas to sit and talk. It also was perfect for taking pictures. There was not a bad backdrop. It felt like home.

Perfect place for our family

Our son was married at Wildcliff, which is about 8 minutes from the house. It was a perfect place to stay to relax, get ready and enjoy time with our family over the weekend. Very clean and has all the amenities you could want, especially being out in the county. The host is very responsive and helpful.
