We had a lovely short break at Grooms Cottage with our 1 year old daughter and dog. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well presented, homely yet spacious. The games room was a brill edition and the pool and hot tub were an amazing amenity to have open access to. For the price it was fantastic value for money. Really good for family groups, we were able to book all 3 cottages for two families and grandma & grandad. Some ok walks in the area but not brilliant to walk directly from the cottages as you have to negotiate a main road for 200m first. Nice AGA in one cottage, shame it wasn’t on! the pool and sports area is fabulous for families, really lovely building and very warm and the owners relaxed about when we used it.

Very relaxing week.

Very relaxing week. Plenty to see and do in the area but the quiet and relatively remote location made it hard to leave. Beautiful heated swimming pool was a very pleasant bonus. Didn't use the games room but was well appointed and can see the advantage during bad weather. Cottage very well appointed and can see a lot of thought went into the process. Thoroughly recommend for all ages. We will be returning, hopefully with our small grandchildren as this is ideal for kids as well as our age group
