Beautiful location and base for exploring the north York moors.
Excellent location in a picturesque village. We walked up the river to Appleton le Moors. We visited Helmsley. Whitby and Sandsend. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a good range of cooking equipment.

Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage. Beautiful location. Very helpful host. Parking a bit "tight" with next door cottage. Thankfully, I knew the guests. Othetwise ... I'd be very happy to be allowed to visit again

Very comfortable, lounge and dining room could do with a makeover, but overall it was lovely, some neighbours were particularly unfriendly when it came to parking on what appeared to be spaces by the village hall, which was not in use while we were staying, especially overnight.

I would definitely recommend the cottage.
I would definitely recommend the cottage. It was in a perfect location and really well kitted out. My only constructive criticism would be the cleanliness.
