Wonderful cosy cottage with everything you need and more for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.Welcoming friendly hostess - welcomed our friends in our absence - and our dog who loved it here. Plenty to do in the area especially if like ourselves you are National Trust members - and don't miss Westonbirt Arboretum or Marlborough!
We loved staying at Margaret's holiday home. It was very comfortable and had lots to see in the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Westonbirt holiday cottage is located in a remote rural location and a car is a must for anyone staying at this cottage. The nearest shops are in Tetbury and taxis don't seem to operate in the area. The accommodation is on the second floor (1st to Europeans) of the building up a flight of stairs. The accommodation is spacious and would work well for a family, with two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. The place is scrupulously clean and well maintained. The furnishings are somewhat dated but everything is functional and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. We were greeted with shortbread and tea, but no pantry items, soap, shampoo etc are provided. The bathroom has the typical pedestal sink with no place to put your things, very common in England. There is a bathtub and shower. We do have one strong recommendation. Clear directions to the property are essential. We did not receive any information and could not find it. It does not have an address and is located on an unnamed road. The postal code provided is not specific to the property. The farm itself has only a small generic sign and is in a remote location. We did not receive instructions from the host before our arrival. The help line did not have the address or directions either. We finally had our Uber driver drop us off at a hotel and were able to call the host after we got the number from the help line. She came and picked us up. Without clear directions, there is no way to locate it.
