Eleanor's Cottage remodeled

Newly remodeled and furnished two bedroom, two bath home near the historic downtown of Mckinney, Texas. Old style charm with all new appliances and natural, hand rubbed wood floors.
The master bedroom has a master bath with deep soaker tub in addition to the glassed in over sized tile shower, two pedestal sinks and two mirrors. Country kitchen has retro style appliances and a large farm sink. Second bath has full tub/shower combo.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Good last minute rental.

We came to town for a funeral. Wanted some space for family to come over after ceremony so we didn’t want a hotel room. This little cottage was perfect. It was cool and very comfortable. Property manager was accommodating for this last minute rental. We were thankful we found this.

Beware of units allowing pets!

Over the past 20 years of using VRBO this was the worst experience ever! The unit was dirty and flea infested. Would not stay here again.

Great location, great house and great owners!

Our family of 4 + 2 pups stayed here for one night and it was a great house. The living room and kitchen all flows nicely as the house itself square footage wise may seem smaller, but the open spaces work great. The location is fantastic right off 75 and within a mile of downtown. The only negative I had was having to park in the street but the street is not crazy so no big deal. All in all for a family with younger kids or a couple works great. The guest bedroom is a daybed with trundle but our oldest opted for the couch. Master has great space and 2 full baths was great. The owners were supper easy to work with direct via text (assuming you can call as well). All in all for the price, location and pet friendly we thought is was perfect! Thanks so much for everything Lee and Janet great place!!!

The nicely upgraded bungalow is close to everything. Our stay was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. There is only on-street parking but that kinda comes with older neighborhoods and did not present a problem. The owner was very flexible and accommodating and responded quickly to messages. A+

We needed a place to stay near downtown McKinney for a wedding that we were attending. It is in a good location with nearby shops for convenience. The only issue is that on the listing, it states that it sleeps 8. This is far from the truth. The home has two bedrooms...1 king bed, 1 day bed and a trundle bed. At most, this place can accommodate 4-5 ppl, comfortably. This home is truly set up for one family with a couple children, not 4+ adults. Also, don’t plan to have much parking as you’re asked park on the street bc of guest house needing driveway access.
