Casas Cueva El Mirador de Galera is made up of 8 holiday houses in caves which are located in Orce and Galera, in the High Plateau of Granada. They are traditional lodgins inside hills which have been restored and provided with all the facilities of modern buildings.

The cave houses are a kind of building which maintains the same temperature, around 20 degrees celsius, all year long, therefore they become an excellent shelter in winter and in summer, as they are cool in winter time and warm in summer time.

Our cave houses are sorrounded by a surprising landscape with natural parks and rivers, archaeological beds, restaurants where tradicional gastronomy and "tapas" are served and a starry sky.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Es posible que no supiéramos darle correctamente las indicaciones, pero encontrar la casa cueva no es difícil, está a unos 300 metros de la plaza del pueblo. Intentaremos mejorar las indicaciones para facilitar en todo lo posible la llegada a futuros viajeros. Muchas gracias por su comentario, seguro que nos ayuda a mejorar.

Problems with Local Agent

Vrbo gave us no advice on how or where to pick up the key to the property after we had booked. We had to find this out ourselves. Arrived at the local office at 2pm. The local agent had no record of our booking, nobody spoke English. Eventually spoke on the phone to someone who told us to return at 4pm and they'd sort something out. We were asked to sign papers written only in Spanish that could not be explained to us. Property was not the property we booked. Property was not properly cleaned, all doors were locked except the bedroom that we were expected to use. We were told to ask our neighbour if we had any problems. The neighbour had nothing whatsoever to do with the property management company but happened to be British. We did not receive what we booked and paid for and think that Vrbo should consider compensation.

Todo fue maravilloso, lo único que falta es ponerle un poco de 3 en 1 en las bisagras de las puertas y una cortina oscura en la habitación doble con puerta con cristales

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, c'est très calme et reposant. Le village et les habitants sont sympathiques. La maison est douce, lumineuse et agréable. Les propriétaires très gentils. Nous recommandons "Las casas cueva el mirador de Galera".

Un oasis

Somos dos parejas con dos niños pequeños, uno cada pareja. Estabamos buscando algun lugar pintoresco y de buen standard en el cual poder descansar y hacer excursiones a la zona de Almeria, Granada y Sierra de Cazorla. Hemos acertado de pleno. Las cueva era fantasticas y la relacion calidad-precio excelente. Es lo mas curioso y diferente que hemos visto en cuanto a hoteles rurales sin bajar la calidad ni servicio. Se ha podido hacer todo lo que se tenia previsto y ademas hemos quedado muy gratamente sorprendidos por la zona, la cual no conociamos ni teniamos grandes referencias. Nos han comentado los locales que estas cuevas son de las mas modernas y mejor acabadas de la zona. Teniamos prevista una sola semana pero finalmente nos hemos quedado diez dias. ES MUY RECOMENDABLE. ESTAMOS PLANEANDO VOLVER!
