Lovely stay en France

Good sized gite in beautiful grounds with easy access to the heated swimming pool, hot tub and fishing lake. Hosts, Pat and Tony, were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and available, if needed. As a group of family and friends, we had a great week with something for everyone.

A lovely week in Normandy

This property is set in such lovely grounds. There is loads for families to do and the property was perfect for what we wanted. The host even arranged for a masseuse to come to our property on the final day for some massages! (For an extra fee)

Bliss!

If you are looking for pure relaxation, this is the place to come! The site is beautiful with good facilities. The local town is charming with supermarkets nearby and a great selection of restaurants. There are some interesting places to visit within half an hour as well as about an hou's drive away. Great information on sights provided at the gite andthe hosts wete very responsive and hospitable - totally recommended!

A week before the booking we were sent information about the listing and only at this point was it made clear that the property is on grounds with another 4 properties, with all the amenities like the pool also being shared. This was not clear in the Vrbo listing at the time of booking. This was a surprise and did make us feel like we had been slightly misled.The inside of the property is clean, but very basic. Bedrooms lack decent curtains and blinds. The whole place is generally quite tired and needs to be updated, over and above the dodgy wiring that has been done. Parts of the house like the balcony were unusable, which the host claims was due to a lost key, but it looked like it hadn’t be touched for months and could collapse in a stiff breeze. The pool was a great size and despite being shared we had not issues accessing it when needed. The table tennis, tennis court and foosball table all got a lot use too! Dorethee was very helpful, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything. We did still enjoy our time at Les Patis, just a shame it didn’t quite live up to the hype of the listing.

Guerquesalles

Tony and Pat keep a beautiful place which we felt privileged to experience. Nothing was too much trouble without being overbearing. The pictures of the property are just as it is and we had a fantastic time both at the property and in the surrounding areas. If you get a chance then book this super property.

Wonderful vacation in The Normandie

We had a very nice stay in La Patis. Lovely and quietly surroundings, which we enjoyed very much. Our 2 teenage sons were a little challenged by the partly lacking Wi-Fi.

Beautiful French Gite in a great setting

Lovely property and superb grounds which are well and regularly maintained. Such a relaxing place and beautiful setting - great fishing lake, lovely pool and hot tub and the gite had everything we needed. Thanks Pat & Tony
