Thank you for choosing our accommodation and giving us such a great review. word-of-mouth is our best form of advertising and comments like yours describes the true essence of our accommodation, Repouso do Milhafre. Guest satisfaction is our incentive for continuing to provide a quality holiday home. Thank you for rewarding us with your praises. From the owners, Lurdes, Antonio & host Zelda

Our biggest reward is the sincere satisfaction patent on our clients’ every word, mirroring our own vision of this house. Repouso do Milhafre is not just an apartment more in the middle of the city. It was designed with care, to make the most of the amazing scenery that Horta’s bay provides and of the harmonious transition between city and country, having the best of both worlds. It is meant to “harbour” our guests with all the comforts of a modern home, whilst granting contact with Nature. And although it has open spaces, it is our concern to preserve our guests privacy and safety (children’s specially) on the terrace and garden, both private and totally hedged. It was a pleasure to receive you and our most sincere thanks for taking such good care of this home. It will always be a delight to receive you again. Best wishes from the owners, Lurdes e Antonio, and the hostess Zelda

As any guest who visit Repouso do Milhafre knows, we are extremely proud of our view of Pico, the beautiful and imposing island-mountain. It is truly a luxury to have this view and we loved to share it with you. But as not only from scenery lives the man, we also endeavor to provide a comfortable home with everything that may make your stay easier and effectively the washer/drier combo is great when you wish to travel light (or have anything dry at an island). Thank you for your visit and we hope to have your company again.

Thank you for your kind review and for your visit. As mentioned, Horta is a great place to visit not only Faial, but Pico also. Nothing easier than catch the ferry in the morning, enjoy the day in the neighbor island, presided by the highest mountain in Portugal, and come back in the evening to the comfort and privacy of your home. (And if you ́re feeling a bit more adventurous, you can also take a longer boat trip until São Jorge and enjoy the wonderful scenery). Danke schön und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Thank you for your kind words. Both us and the house we’ll be here to receive you with open arms. Until then, safe travels

Thank you for your kind words about Repouso do Milhafre and our service. As our hostess Zelda has a large experience organizing stays in Faial, her knowledge and contacts around the island allow her to provide a service that goes beyond the simple lodging arrangements. It was our pleasure that once again our clients were happy with it and we hope that her cooperation continues to be useful and appreciated. We do what we can to make our guest’s stay as pleasant as possible, especially on arrival and departure days, minimizing luggage carrying times. That is why, whenever we need to clean the house for the next guests, we try to find an accommodating solution for all, such as storing the luggage as long as possible. We treasured the care you had with the house, which allowed us to prepare it quickly to the next clients. It was our great pleasure to have you here and we hope to see soon again. All the best from the owners, Lurdes and António.
