One of seven Cottages (The Dairy has disabled facilities), set in 100 acres of beautiful protected Breton countryside. A short walk to our stunning meadow bordered for 1km by the River Aven, with a Trout Pond and picnic tables. Lots of wildlife and a truly peaceful place to relax and unwind in. Nearby is our closest market town, Rosporden, 2kms away and it has all the amenities you should need during your stay

We are in a rural location yet within a 15 mins easy drive of lots of sandy unspoilt beaches. Also close by are the historic towns of Pont Aven 10mins drive, Concarneau, 15 mins drive and Quimper 25 mins drive.

Adrenature a climbing centre is just 5 mins drive from us and Aven Parc only a 7 minute drive is an adventure park with mazes, water attractions and farm animals . There are museums, Chateaux and many other attractions and places to visit and we put a a comprehensive Guest Pack in each gîte along with tourism brochures.

The cottages have been renovated to the highest standard, whilst retaining many original features. They are fully equipped with all the facilities you should need during your stay.

Facilities include 12m x6 m heated swimming pool which is fenced with a security gate. (Open end of May to end of September). There are sun loungers, tables and chairs for our Guests comfort.

The gîtes sit in the middle of 100 acres with a children's play area, meadow with trout pond and the river Aven, woods to explore and trees to climb. There are walks on the farm and there is a barn with a table tennis table and other games.

We keep chickens (fresh free range eggs), ducks and turkeys and also have bee hives where we produce our own honey. (The hives are kept away from the cottages so you wouldn't know they were there!).

Guests can bring their bikes to explore the area and can cycle to Rosporden (2km) our local market town to collect some fresh baguette and croissants in the morning. There are some lovely rides on or off road, cycle to Concarneau on the old railway track and then catch the bus back with your bike!

The Farmhouse is a two storey Cottage - 3 bedrooms - sleeps 6 plus a baby.

The gîte is laid out over 2 levels

Ground floor
A separate lounge that has one 3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs, coffee tables, a wood burning stove, satellite TV, DVD, speaker for mobile phone and free Wifi.
A separate fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large fridge freezer, Tassimo coffee machine). In the kitchen there is also a solid pine dining table with 6 chairs.
A bathroom on the ground floor with shower cubicle, sink and toilet.

First floor
Bedroom 1 - a large bedroom with a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a dressing table.
Bedroom 2 - two single beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and dressing table and stool.
Bedroom 3 - two single beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and a set of drawers.

A family bathroom with a shower over a bath, shower cubicle, sink and a toilet.

Highchairs, cots as well as other baby equipment are available free of charge.

The Farmhouse has a fully fenced garden that has a gate that can be locked if required. In the garden there is a table, 6 chairs, along with a BBQ and sun loungers.
