Apartment with independent entrance and spacious rooms located in a period building from the 16th century. recently renovated, it is located in the historic center, in one of the most prestigious areas of Mantua (UNESCO World Heritage Center) 30 meters from Piazza Sordello where Palazzo Ducale, the Duomo and the Casa di Rigoletto overlook. It has a small internal courtyard with the possibility of parking bicycles.
Located near the main attractions and services of the town. FOR THOSE ARRIVING BY CAR, BE CAREFUL OF THE LIMITED TRAFFIC ZONES (ZTL WITH CAMERAS) IN THE HISTORICAL CENTER. We recommend the free, large, and very quiet parking lot "Campo Canoa" 700 meters far from the center. You can walk to the center across the bridge in 5 minutes, or take the shuttle that leaves directly in front of the castle.

Great property, position and hosts.

We had a wonderful month in Mantova. Sabina’s property was excellent, both in comfort and position in the town. It is close to Piazza Sordello, Palazzo Ducale and the lakes for a pleasant passeggiata. Plenty of close-by eating options. Sabina and her family were extremely helpful. We can highly recommend the property and Mantova, of course.

This is in a perfect spot around the corner from the Pallazzo Ducale. There are 2 very large rooms with a bathroom leading off the sitting/eating space. The apartment is safe and quiet

Location, location, location

Location could not be better—just steps from the Duomo and main Piazza Sordello. It is on a tiny medieval street in a charming centuries old building. Apartment was very clean but not everything worked e.g. the refrigerator, the sink light, the water kettle, and the wifi without which we could not contact the owner. Still the location was so good we would stay there again.

Dopo la vostra partenza ho notato che bastava semplicemente attivare l'interruttore e tutto era perfettamente funzionante, sia frigorifero, che bollitore, che luce della cappa in cucina e wifi.

A traditionally furnished ground floor apartment in an ancient part of Mantova within easy walking distance of key sights. Streets very narrow which was a challenge with driving! Generally well-equipped but note no kettle provided. We stayed during very hot weather - fortunately had our own fan as none was provided

A great option for an Italian visit

We greatly enjoyed staying for 16 nights in this well-modernised flat in the centre of the old town. There's a good local cafe and the main square both just around the corner. Our landlady, Sabina, was very helpful. It helped not to have a car, as parking options are scarce. The only difficulty was coordinating our arrival with her, as she lives elsewhere in town and has work commitments, but she hadn't told us that. That worked out too, and reasonably quickly.

Pulizia, accoglienza, animali ammessi, comunicazione con l'host (signora Sabina), posizione per noi che eravamo a Mantova per il Festivaletteratura, tutto perfetto: Ci abbiamo pensato un po' perché il costo era un po' fuori dalla nostra portata, alla fine abbiamo deciso di fare un sacrificio e abbiamo fatto bene, soprattutto perché avendo due cagnoline al seguito e non volendole lasciare troppo sole (purtroppo agli eventi a pagamento non sono ammessi i cani), ci ha fatto davvero comodo essere a due passi dal centro di tutto. Quanto alla sosta, noi, una volta scaricata l'auto nelle vicinanze dell'appartamento, abbiamo portato l'auto al parcheggio di Campocanoa, gratuito e servito da navetta. Dista meno di un km dalla piazza, volendo ti fai una camminata di un quarto d'ora con la vista del Mincio e dello Skyline più bello della Lombardia e ti dimentichi dell'auto fino al momento del ritorno a casa.

Schöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die liebevoll renovierte Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Mantua und es ist dennoch sehr ruhig, da nur vereinzelt Autos durch die Gasse fahren. Es ist alles vorhanden, um einen angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen und auch sich selbst zu versorgen. Das Auto parkten wir kostenlos in ca. 1 km Entfernung über der Brücke und haben es die ganzen Tage auch nicht gebraucht. Der Empfang durch Sabina war sehr angenehm und die Kommunikation problemlos. Vielen Dank!

Magic in Mantua

Really central and convenient location. Taxi takes 10 mins from train station - and you could walk it in 15/20 mins if you wanted. Lovely and quiet ground floor apartment. No view, but cool, clean and spacious. Great shower and kitchen seemed well equipped although we didn’t eat in - too many great places to try! Sabina (our host) was so helpful and flexible and informative. We will be back.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in bester Lage

Die Wohnung hat ein großes mit Barockmöbeln ausgestattetes Schlafzimmer, eine geräumige Wohnküche und ein Bad - alles in hervorragendem Zustand. Der gesamte Altstadtbereich ist von der in einer sehr ruhig hinter dem Dom gelegenen Wohnung fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt nahegelegene Parkplätze zu moderaten Gebühren (8,50 Euro pro Tag).

Authentische Wohnung im historischen Zentrum

Diese Wohnung ist gut geeignet, um die Stadt zu erkunden; alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist etwas schwierig; doch in 1.2 km Entfernung (hinter dem Damm ) kann man kostenlos parken. Kein Problem, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist. Es bieten sich auf dem Weg zum Parkplatz tolle Fotomotive auf die Stadt.
