A lovely cottage in a lovely area. The house was perfect for the two of us and our 2 dogs. Allan contacted us very quickly & gave us all the info for our arrival. He also provided us with yummy brownies, a big bowl of fruit, chocolates, biscuits and everything for a lovely breakfast. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.

I have stayed at this location previously and was delighted to return. All details for a most relaxing and enjoyable weekend stay had been carefully considered and the host was great to communicate with.The proximity to town and everything that Bendigo has to offer was great. Very comfortable lovely property and accommodates dogs as well. Very generous breakfast provisions on arrival. Definitely recommend this property for future travels. We will definitely stay here again should we be in the area

What a joy it was to stay in this delightful cottage. Everything you could possibly wish for (and more!) was provided by the thoughtful host. The breakfast provisions were more than generous, and it was a real pleasure to have an abundance of good-quality crockery and utensils, something so often lacking in short-stay accommodation. The eclectic decor is fabulous and we kept discovering new little treasures to admire throughout our stay. Allan clearly cares about his guests, as made evident by his attention to detail in all aspects of our booking. Fantastic place, and one we would return in a heartbeat. A real find.

Great house! 10minutes easy walk to town. Dog friendly and the backyard/property was secure for this purpose too. Allan is very generous with books/DVDs, breakfast items and fruit bread jams etc. Plus everything you could want in a kitchen.Best Lemon Slice ive had in a long time!Thanks Allan, we will be back (as will friends of ours that wanted the link)

Welcoming, warm, comfortable, convenient. We loved Hyacinth Cottage! It was spotlessly clean, has excellent ducted heating in every room, warm doonas, electric blankets, blockout blinds and spacious rooms. It’s an easy short walk to the shops and a short drive to any of Bendigo’s lovely features. Our highlight was how welcomed we felt. There was a very delicious homemade cake, a variety of breaky supplies, fruit, biscuits and all possible kitchenware. The artwork and antiques add to the charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week and highly recommend Hyacinth Cottage.

Great stay

We loved our stay here. Breakfast items, treats and a beautiful cake greeted us on our arrival. We loved looking at all of the little Knick knacks around the house. The garden was beautiful. And great to have washing facilities. A great area - Close to everything. We very much enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable house.
