The Perfect Cottage For A Family Vacation At The Lake

Please note that since the cottage has a Short-Term Rental Permit 26-544-059 issued by Cultus Lake Park and Provincial Short-Term Rental Registration H484779878 issued by the Province of British Columbia it is not subject to provincial short-term rental limitations.

Reservations are accepted for 3 days or more from January to June and September and 5 days or more for July, August and December.

There is a 10% discount for stays of 7 days or longer.

Caution - We have noticed that the cottage has at times been listed without our permission on Craigslist. The only way you should book this property is directly through VRBO or one of its approved partners. Brent and Sharron.

The cottage is currently booked from March 1st to April 30th, 2026, and October 1st to December 15th, 2026. We are now accepting reservations for Spring, Summer, September and December 2026.

Reservations are available for up to 18 months from today's date.

The cottage is available for rentals of 30 days or more at a 50% discount except for July and August subject to existing reservations. PST (8%), Municipal Tax (3%), and GST (5%) do not apply to stays of 30 days or longer.

There are also dates available at our two-bedroom cabin (listed as VRBO 1451757) which is next door to this cottage.

The cottage can accommodate up to ten people and has room for four cars in the front driveway.

The cottage is a five-minute walk out the front door to the beach and sits on a large lot with plenty of room in the fully fenced and dog friendly backyard. The yard has several large trees that provide plenty of shade.

The living room has a large smart TV with HDMI connections as well as a DVD player. High speed Wi-Fi is included in the rate. The living room has a natural gas fireplace and French doors that open on to a large deck. The deck has a covered natural gas barbeque, a large gazebo that has lights for the evenings and also an open area that is ideal for sitting by the propane bowl. There is also a wood burning firepit available for use during the spring and fall when there is normally not a fire ban in place.

One bedroom has a queen bed and looks out onto the deck through French doors. This bedroom also has a natural gas fireplace. The second bedroom witch includes a double bed as well as a bunk bed. The third bedroom includes a double bed. A large sofa bed in the living room can sleep two.

The yard has several large trees that provide plenty of shade. Each bedroom has a window air conditioner installed in the summer.

In the summer there is outdoor propane shower on the back deck available for a quick cool down on hot days or for a rinse off after a day at the lake.

The kitchen and laundry room are updated with new counter tops and tile backsplashes. The kitchen also includes a gas stove with warming drawer, a fridge with a built-in cold-water dispenser and ice maker, microwave, and a Bosch dishwasher. Plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils are supplied. The laundry room has a stacking washer and dryer. The dining room can seat eight. There is one three-piece bathroom with a walk-in shower and second two-piece bathroom.

Smoking is allowed outside only in the yard, please not inside the cottage. Cultus Lake is a smoke free community with smoking not allowed on the beach, trails, roads, and public areas.
