Plenty of room for 8 adults and 5 children with room to spare. Facilities were excellent with favorable comments from each family. Kids loved the community facilities - pool, yabbie pond, and playground. Plenty of wildlife to entertain us -kookaburras, kangaroos, AND a goanna! The pool table was a hit with the adults once the children were in bed. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience was had by all. Recommended.

Great property and hilarious wildlife

Awesome property to stay at. The wildlife are very used to the guests, just watch out for the Kookaburras when you're having breakfast!

Spacious holiday home, great for families

Amazing stay

We had a great time at Jamevin! All the bedrooms are large and most have ensuites which our guests loved. The main kitchen/dining/lounge area is huge and has all the things you could need for a stay. Amazing views and loved the spa. Only downfall was no wifi and the mobile data is patchy.

Good Family Getaway Spot

This was a great place for a family weekend away. Plenty of space for our large family to mingle and also to retreat into our own private bedrooms and ensuites. The extra shared amenities were good too, with the communal tennis court and table tennis table getting a good work out.

We are a group of 5 families that come together every king's birthday Long weekend. The house was perfect for our needs.All the parents got a room with an ensuite and there were three rooms and an extra bathroom that were set up to accommodate the 12 children. There were plenty of bed options. The kitchen had all the utensils and crockery to accommodate our group of 22.The outlook was beautiful. There were plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy in the shared facilities (table tennis, tennis, pool, playpark). The house itself had a, outdoor spa, pool table and a volleyball net and basketball hoop out the back.There was something for everyone. Perfect getaway for families with children.

A nice weekend away

The host was a pleasure to deal with and arranging our stay was frictionless. Their house was well presented and tidy with a great wood fire that kept us all warm, in a nice area with communal facilities within walking distance.

A must stay

The place was perfect for a little getaway with family friends. Had a great view from the balcony and all rooms were very spacious! Would stay here again if I’m ever driving up north. 10/10

Big house in Vacy

Our stay was wonderful. House has everything you need for large groups. Family really enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. Large porch is enclosed which made it easy to watch the kids play while adults relaxed. Thanks for a great stay Denis.

Cousins Getaway

Had a fabulous weekend family getaway at Jamevin Lodge. The house and all the amenities were excellent and the scenery was breathtaking. Dennis was so easy to deal with and made checking in and out a breeze. Would highly recommend this venue.

The road up the mountain was exciting. There were 11 adults (3 generations in our group). We all walked up the hill to the recreation area and used the pool, tennis court and ping pong table. The house provided plenty of space in the kitchen/dining room for us to enjoy our Mexican evening and pool comp.All 11 of us agreed the accommodation, views and amenities are 5 star and perfect for a fun weekend. Jamevin Mountain Retreat in Vacy was a wonderful place for 5 couples to stay for our annual Christmas in July get away. None of us had heard of Vacy or Paterson and as we wound our way to our venue, we thought that the countryside was just stunning. Of course, the winter sunshine was a blessing. The instructions on where to access the keys and then how to get to the property were excellent. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add to the detail that the road from Vacy town to the property is long and uphill and winding. When we got there a fabulous fellow was stocking up the house with firewood, and he let the first couple to arrive into the property so they didn't have to wait for the others (with the keys). The place is large and has magnificent views. Two good size living areas, bedrooms and ensuites for all of us, and very comfortable beds. And it was very clean. Thanks to the owners for making this lovely place available to others for their enjoyment.
