An older home that is comfy and has all we needed, but could do with a bit more attention to cleaning. The host was exceptionally pleasant and helpful when VRBO let us down badly with things like an incorrect safe key code and emails with links that didn't work.

This house was listed as Pet friendly had no fencing. On a busy road.Inadequte heating. Plug in Gas Heater with no flue. Toilet was filthy. Contacted the owner for a refund who refused.. He wanted me to go and buy a portablable heater.Stayz gave a partial refund after to lenghtly phone calls. We found other accommodation.Not Happy..

Hi Doris, we are very sorry for your poor experience with our holiday house rental. We are using the unflued gas heater at our property for a number of years, never had any concerns raised. The heater is well appreciated by our Australian guests and you may not be aware that these heaters are quite legal for use in living rooms. I am sorry that you were not aware that our property is not fenced in, however we clearly state: perk like surroundings. Our cleaners are quite upset about your comment re cleanliness as they do a very professional job for us for many years and never had any complaints. Lastly we refer to our other guest reviews who mainly give us a 100% satisfactory experience. We would like to welcome you again in summer when there is no issue about the heater and you can really enjoy staying at our property like all our other guests. Thank you Wolfgang and Christina

Very homely, comfortable which enabled us to relax. New bathroom was nice. Easy access to water, which made kayaking fun. Walking distance to all amenities. Enjoyed the firepit ( need to bring your own wood). Outdoor area comfortable. Good sized rooms, beds were a little soft but got used to it.We all enjoyed our stay.

A large home with plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet spot to relax. The waterfront location and kayaks was a hit with my son who spent many hours out on the lake fishing and generally being active. The house has all the basics needed for a home stay with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware with a small dishwasher to help make clean ups easier. A simple, not-fussy interior, you can just put your feet up and chill without worry. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will consider it again in the future.

The house was in a tranquil setting and you could walk right down to the water of the beautiful calm bay. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. A truly enjoyable stay.
