Less than 5 minutes from Gore, the house was clean, every bedroom has its own bathroom, and the shuffleboard table in the basement is awesome. Great place to stay for a family ski trip!
The house was beautiful, very clean and spacious, exactly as advertised. The outdoor area was even bigger than we were expecting. We couldn't have been happier, and we definitely plan on staying here again!

Thanks Patrick! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay at the chalet and hope you’ll stay with us again. Enjoy your summer!
This the second time we stayed. We will be back again. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and pavilion, which make the home unique. The home is in a great location, just down the road from Gore Mountain.
The house was infested with flies. Yes, in February. We killed probably 50 flies ourselves but the dead flies (easily in the hundreds) are all over the house. On top of kitchen cabinets (where we eat), in light fixtures, in window sills, etc. It's disgusting. When I asked the owner, she told me it's a normal problem in the area. I've rented multiple other houses and never saw one fly. Next, the towels all smelled of mold. We washed them every day we were there but the smell never went away. The remotes don't full work on the TV so you can't watch it. The owner has a sign on display asking that we (renters) take care of the place like it's our own. I would ask the her the same thing. There's no way she would allow these things in her own house.
This place was great for two families (9 total) of us to get away and the attention to detail is amazing. There were 5 adults & 4 teens and plenty of room & bathrooms. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard with the kids & sitting outside by the fireplace & swing. An awesome time was had by all & Gore is down the street.
Excellent communication with property manager, Kerrie. Friendly and quick responses to all questions. House is CLEAN, well cared for, and so comfortable. Our crew of 11 had so much fun, and just loved this property.

This house was perfect for our surprise 60th birthday gathering for my mother in law! Just 30 minutes from Lake George. Great local restaurants and bars! The house with outdoor pavilion and fireplace were a fantastic hang out sport. I would come back here again for sure!

Thank you for being such wonderful guests! Please come back anytime, we’d love to have you!
Great location near Gore Mountain, and a beautiful, well constructed house. The house accommodated our group of 8 easily with large bedrooms, multiple living spaces and many bathrooms. It was convenient that sheets and towels were included. We had a great time on the mountain, and we were able to come back to the house and relax in comfort and cook in the spacious kitchen. We would definitely stay again!
The house is stunning! Clean, spacious & well maintained. Also, the outside pavilion is massive and beautiful! Pictures don’t do justice. Will definitely stay here again if in the area!
Perfect property with private pavilion that had built in bluetooth speakers, fireplace, and grill. Enough room for any party of 10+. Surrounding areas offer hiking, sports, and a small business district to pick up any last minute needs. Owners are one text away and quick with responses. Would recommend this property to anyone.

Went up for MLK weekend with my best friend and our kids. They chalet was as described. We needed for nothing . We meet the owners and had a lovely chat with Michelle. We highly recommend this property for the location and proximity to Gore Mountain and Ski Bowl and for the friendly owners! A great choice for a large group. We look forward to going up again!

Thank you for staying at the chalet, we’re so glad you enjoyed your weekend! We look forward to having you as guests again.
Our family had a wonderful stay. We appreciated the owner stopping by and saying "hello." Great folks! The chalet was beautiful and accommodated us with great space, inside and out. We would definitely return. The only thing we'd change is the cookware. We could have used a few more pans. The ones available could use updating. Highly recommend!
We had a nice stay at this property during president's week. We were a group of 2 families with 4 combined kids. The home was ideally set up with 3 bedrooms on the main level all with ensuite bathrooms, plus a huge loft, perfect for the kids with ample beds and its own bathroom. We cooked most meals and found the kitchen easy to use with plenty of supplies to cook with. I wouldnt describe it as luxurious, more simply done- both the decorating and furniture. In general there were a few things that could be replaced/updated. The outdoor entertaining space/covered patio was enormous and really nice. We used the outdoor fireplace one afternoon and enjoyed it. The location to Gore can't be beat if you are skiing. We had some significant snowfall and the property was plowed quickly. Overall I would recommend this home to others but woukd caution those who are very picky about small things. I'd encourage the owners to replace some old rugs, etc and have the cleaning staff give things a closer look over.
This property was an on the point deluxe ski lodge. When driving in, the snow-covered lawn gave the impression of being impeccable and well-manicured, like a royal cottage in a storybook. The beds were comfortable and covered in blankets. The fridge was quite spacious for our short trip, and covered for eight people. The kitchen was clean and tidy, and there was no shortage of tableware. When preparing to leave for the skiing place, our skiwear was toasty warm near the fireplace. After coming back, the showers were plentiful and clean. There were a lot of laundered towels. The dining table was quite large, although the linked benches could be a nuisance. The TV was large and was in a room with reclining couches. It was already subscribed to some streaming services, including Netflix. There was a roofed outdoor dining area with a barbecue and sink, as well as a small clubhouse. In the basement, there was a shuffleboard, which was very fun to play on. Overall, our family had a great stay and would definitely book here again. The location was great and the house was surprisingly inexpensive. The only complaints I have would be that the benches, though cute, were very annoying, the upstairs bathroom doorknob was broken, and the shuffleboard was out of sand. But still, the house was amazing and probably the best house I've ever booked.

What a lovely review! We appreciate the feedback. When designing the handmade furniture, we hired a local artist and friend and gave him free reign. He also did the trim and stonework on the outdoor fireplace. Though I can understand how benches might be a nuisance, especially with kids. Thanks for being an awesome guest, looking forward to having you back!
The property is somehow even better than the photos.
Just completed a stay with a small group of friends. Property was beautiful and just a few minutes from gore mountain. We did all of our meals in house and their kitchen and outdoor pavilion is perfect for cooking homemade meals. Plenty of space and kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. I was surprised with how many pots, pants and utensils they had.
Additionally the owner was very responsive. This was my first time using Vrbo and was a bit worried but the responsiveness from the owner made it all very easy.

About the host

I have been bringing my family to the Adirondack area for vacations to ski at Gore Mountain in the winter and swim and fish the many local lakes in the summer for over thirty years. We have made North Creek our home and love to share all that our beautiful area has to offer.
What makes this property unique
This property was envisioned and designed with the help of family and friends and built by local artists and craftsmen. Every detail of the chalet has been thoroughly thought over from the rustic log bed frames to the hand railings, trim, and stonework.
