John and Maria were lovely hosts and when the pool was dirty they came all the way down to clean it for us! The place was beautiful with the most gorgeous views and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and have made many happy memories! We also loved meeting the cows, goats and ponies!

We had a big group of adults and kids and thoroughly enjoyed the space. It was decked out with lots of toys and activities for the kids. Beds were comfy and the plunge pool was a gem.Would stay again!

Would highly recommend for a large group

The property is spacious but also super cosy. The views are amazing and we loved the farm animals. The decor is super tasteful and it had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Amazing Getaway

We had an amazing time at the property. We had 14 people stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids had an absolute blast and there was something for everything. We did not want to leave! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Fantastic getaway.

This property was ideal for our family getaway and everyone loved it. It is a beautiful house in a peaceful location. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. Communication from the host was excellent. We would love to return one day.

80th Celebrations

Perfect location for a family get together. The house was beyond our expectations with ample room for 14 people. We made friends with the ponies and goats and the bush setting and sunsets were amazing. Highly recommend this property. Maria and John were great hosts with precise communication and updates.

Charleson Farm - a real retreat

Waking up to the stunning farmland views after a wonderful night's sleep in the most comfiest of beds was wonderful. The house (and property) had everything you needed and the host messaged to let you know they were there to help if needed.

A lovely place to stay. We left a couple of items behind and requested if they could post them back. This was not a problem for them at all and I received the items within days. Lots of extras too! One of our party forgot their toothbrush, opened the cupboard and there were spares! Also impressed by the rubbish sorting system. Communication was excellent with all my queries answered promptly. We were attending a wedding nearby and and were not able to avail ourselves of all the extras but the pool looked very inviting!

Loved it all, especially the plunge pool, fire pit and the farm animals

This was the perfect escape from the city for my group of girlfriends. We adored the plunge pool, the spacious living areas and the interactions with the goats and ponies. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with pre and during the stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a spacious holiday home for a group of up to 14. We left feeling super relaxed and recharged, and can't wait to visit again.

Perfect escape

Driving in the driveway we were met with kangaroos, goats, horses and straight away we all started to unwind. Perfect for our extended family getaway. Everything was well thought out and well stocked. The plunge pool was divine. We would love to all stay again and next time longer! Thankyou.

Simply the best

Easily the best weekend get-away I have ever stayed at. The perfect location, a stunning house large enough for everyone, a pool complete with incredible view, veggie patch and of course ponies and goats. Thanks Maria and John for the opportunity to experience Charleson Farm for my 50th birthday. We’ll certainly be back in 2024!

Holiday stay with the girls

Overall my experience staying at Charlton Farm was amazing. I had great communication from the owner of the property prior to my arrival. The house is a fantastic location if you’re looking for a mini country getaway. The house is full stocked with key essentials to make your stay very pleasant. From board games and outdoor activities.

Charleson farm is magical! The hosts were Fantastic- super responsive and great communication before and during our stay. The house was beautifully presented and the property was so much fun to explore. Having the ponies just outside the window (they checked first with us if this was ok or we wanted them in the paddock) was so much fun for everyone. We loved the cows, goats and ponies and spotting the kangaroos too. The teens/ young adults loved a dip in the pool each night as the sun was setting. And the indoor fire was wonderful as the day was very chilly. We will certainly be booking in again to stay here.

Perfect Weekend

Had a great stay at the farm! Communication with hosts was clear and we were provided with lots of info and ideas on what to do during our stay. Initially it states that the house is a 13 minute walk from lorne.. it was actually about a 40minute drive from lorne but had a great stay regardless of this. Really loved going up and visiting the goats and ponies as well! Thanks John and Maria
