Paradise on the Murray River

45 minutes from Perth CBD and only 10 minutes from Mandurah, this river front 2 storey property has 5 large bedrooms with queen beds, and a smaller bedroom / nursery with a porta cot and single bed with access from the master bedroom.

This well-ventilated house has large living areas with views of the Murray River, below ground pool and a private jetty to moor your boat too! The rear of the house opens out to a Shady large grassed public space where kids can run around or throw a ball! Heating and cooling to living areas and master bedroom, Pedestal fans in all other rooms, under cover parking, additional parking for boat, Foxtel connection and free Wi-Fi throughout the house. River access to estuary and ocean via Mandurah cut.

We would love to accommodate your pet on your holiday too, but only if approved by us at the time of booking. A Pet fee will apply if approved and included.

If its wide-open spaces you crave, then this is the holiday home for you! This is NOT a regular canal home; it is on the actual RIVER!! You can watch the dolphins, ducks and boats go by, as you chill in the rear verandah sipping your favourite drink while the snags cook on the barbie, or you can fish/crab off the private jetty. It’s everything you need for a relaxing holiday!!

Sonya was communicative and friendly, the house was spacious and clean, modern and well positioned!The view from the lounge to the park (excellent for bocce, for those inclined), on to the river is beautiful. The pool, albeit cool, was a great spot to wind down in the afternoon, before making dinner. Outdoor barbeque and indoor cooking facilities are spot on, plenty of cutlery and crockery. Good parking for, in our case, 5 cars and a trailered boat. Thanks Sonya!

The location of the property was amazing and the amenities were used to their maximum effect. It could do with a deep clean eg windows, plants covered in dust, soot above fireplace. The windows in upstairs bedroom and bathroom could not be wedged open to let fresh air in. The lighting in the main living is poor. The knives need sharpening and some mirrors in bedroom would be appreciated.The communication with property owners was outstanding, even when we wanted to extend our stay. Thanks for a wonderful holiday

Paradise Indeed

The house is in a fabulous location and the layout is perfect for a holiday home. We were very impressed with the size of the rooms and the presentation of the house. Being located so close to the river meant endless entertainment for the kids and the opportunity to take long walks every day. Would definitely stay there again.

As well as being property owners we also travel and rent holiday homes ourselves so we are able to relate with your expectations as a holiday maker. We strive to ensure that each and every one of our guests feels welcome and enjoys their stay.

Why they chose this property

This home is a very special place for our family as it is our escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. The river is beautiful and to walk through the property and discover the hidden "paradise" with the parkland reserve and the river is mood changing.

What makes this property unique

Yes, you can rent homes on the canals, but they can't be compared to being right on the actual river itself!! Especially since you can launch your boat and then tie it up at our dedicated private jetty at the rear of the house. Abundance of space to relax and Pool is an extra bonus! You got to get there to truly appreciate why it feels like "Paradise"
